Farm to Fork 2015
Farm to Fork is an annual dining event at Delaware Nature Society's beautiful Coverdale Farm Preserve in Greenville, Delaware.
2015's Farm to Fork highlighted the abundance of the season, the fall harvest, while honoring the important role of pollinators. Pollinators play a critical role in agricultural production; they are responsible for 1 of every 3 bites of food we take each day. At Coverdale Farm Preserve, our sustainable agriculture operations work to conserve pollinators.
Our guests enjoyed a cocktail reception overlooking the pasture, and conjoined for a family-style, three-course seated dinner under the stars. Our menu featured delectables grown right on the farm and a menu pairing by Montrachet Fine Foods that featured craft brewed Dogfish Head beer. Guests dined on free range all natural Angus beef with a fresh herb rub, grilled ratatouille, and Radicchio salad with Coverdale Farm honey vinaigrette. The mousse with Coverdale Farm honey and herbs was delicious!

Delaware
Delaware is a U.S. state located on the Atlantic Coast in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. It is bordered to the south and west by Maryland, to the northeast by New Jersey, and to the north by Pennsylvania. The state takes its name from Thomas West, 3rd Baron De La Warr, an English nobleman and Virginia's first colonial governor, after whom what is now called Cape Henlopen was originally named.
