Ashtarak , is a town in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia, located on the left bank of Kasagh River along the gorge, northwest of the capital Yerevan.It is the administrative centre of the Aragatsotn province.Ashtarak is an important crossroad of routes for the Yerevan–Gyumri–Vanadzor rectangle.The town plays a great role in the national economy as well as the cultural life of Armenia through several industrial enterprises and cultural institutions.

Кроме одного, кроме того, что желание не позваляет только одного... Желание имеет одно пропасть, одна грань, который переступить нельзя, ибо после этой грани тебе ждёт два ответа, которые ты не способен слушать, тем боле сказать сам себе... Желание создана так, что когда ты ступаешь последнейшую черту, ты сам себе говоришь вот и всё твоё желание так и останется желанием или вот и всё ты достиг твоего желание, малодец, ты просто гении и от этого молодец, который ты говоришь сам себе становится тошнит, тошнит от того, что осознаешь,что это желание, это мечта ты сделал своей обязательной целю, каторого достиг очень трудно, достиг понимая что даже самая священная цель не можно поменять с капелькой желанием... И поэтому, надо просто, не потеряя цель, сделать всё для желание, но оставить немножко место, лишь для того, чтобы потом сам себе смог сказать, моё желание не сбылось не из-за меня... а не судьба была... и моё желание сбылось, потому что желание такое существо и потому что судьба хотела...

Armenian Church Youth Center Opens in Ashtarak
On 14 September, the opening ceremony of the Ashtarak Youth Center was held under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. This is the eighth Youth Center operating under the auspices of the Mother See. The center was fully renovated through the benefaction of the Harold and Josephine Gulamerian Foundation of New York, USA.

On September 3 concrete lining works on Yerevan-Ashtarak section commenced. Now concrete paver machines, operated by workers from the Contractor company Isolux Corsan, work simultaneously on both Artashat-Yerevan and Yerevan-Ashtarak sections.

ATP provides fruit trees to Syrian Armenian families in Artsakh
Hundreds of families have immigrated to Armenia as a result of the conflict in Syria. Many have moved to Artsakh where we've been planting trees for more than ten years. This spring, we provided 200 fruit trees to families in the Kashatagh region, including 34 Syrian Armenian families. This video produced by Ani Melkonian includes interviews with two of our proud beneficiaries.

ОписаниеAdrien Beauduin from People in Need adress to the participants of the Workshop on Civic Activism in Ashtarak, Armenia.
On 27 May 2017 “Free Citizen” CISC organised the workshop for the local youth in the framework of the Project in the city of Ashtarak, Aragatsotn region of Armenia. This is first from the 12 workshops, which are planned to organise in Armenia in the framework of the Project “Young Activist”. The workshops are dedicated to raising awareness among participants on the European Union, Council of Europe, Eastern Partnership, Visegrad 4 format, as well as providing general information about campaigning, including social media, public speaking and debating and other relevant topics.
25 young civic activists from all over Aragatsotn region participated in the workshop. Also the representative from the partner organization People in Need (Czech Republic) Adrian Sergio C Beaduin took part of the Workshop as an invited observer.
During the workshop it was also discussed the following issues, which have been identified by the participants as more relevant for the Youth of their region:
• Absence of Youth centers, absence or poor state of the houses of culture and libraries;
• Unemployment;
• The problem of water supply in some villages;
• The problem of effective professional career orientation for university and college applicants- based on market needs;
• The problem of the quality of roads and accessibility to public transport.
