On Thursday 5th May 2016, British asparagus is hosting a culinary extravaganza to celebrate British produce and the growers themselves.
We are crowdfunding in order to host this event, on an all or nothing basis! If all funds are successfully raised, the event will take place at Yurt Lush near Temple Meads in Bristol.

The tobacco waste sand dunes at Formby Beach, Merseyside
Mr H visits the beach at Formby Point to take a closer look at the curious dark brown sand dunes that have been created due to coastal erosion exposing waste from a former tobacco tip that was buried between 1956 and 1974 on nearby disused asparagus farmland by the Liverpool based 'British Nicotine Company Ltd'.
