This land parcel is NOT part of Parish of Mordialloc but is Parish of Lyndhurst. All of this land is permanently reserved Crown Land, 1873 gazette for public purposes. This means the land (Foreshore area) is for public benefit/usage. Public land attached to waterways should be especially utilised wisely in land occupation and management.
Life Saving Club pictures included.

The first Life Saving Club in Australia commenced operations in 1907 at Bondi Sydney. Life Saving
Clubs along this foreshore date back to around 1918 to 1931.
Historically the Foreshore was adjacent to the massive Carrum Swamp that exceeded 10,000 acres in size. Originally Dandenong, Eumemmerring and many smaller creeks water entered the Carrum Swamp, which extended between Mordialloc to Frankston.
