Zoo Lights Festival | Assiniboine Park & Zoo, Winnipeg, Canada
Walking around the Assiniboine Zoo Lights Festival on a gorgeous December evening enjoying all the Christmas lights and holiday spirit. I really enjoyed visiting the Polar Town and walking down the Tundra Trail.
I highly recommend checking out the zoo in person for the full experience.

It was -16’C that night but it didn’t stop us from checking what the Lights Festival has to offer. It features thousand of lights that were decorated in every corner that turns the zoo into winter town! We were so amazed for the light show was really beautiful and it added the feels of Christmas in our hearts!

Zoo Lights Festival is an after hours event at the Assiniboine Park Zoo which features thousands of light installations that bring to life a magically illuminated fictional Manitoban winter town: Polar Town. It also features interactive experiences, entertainment, a Third + Bird market, and great food.
Warm up at different locations like the Forge, the Village, Town Hall, and the Clubhouse and enjoy a variety of entertainment!

Headed to Assiniboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg for the first time since Mike was about 12. It's been thoroughly revamped since, with a fantastic polar bear exhibit.

I walked through the zoo and took this video in the Autumn of 2018. The Zoo was completely renovated over the last few years and is a wonderful place to take the family for a day out.
