EXPLORING KRAKOW (CRACOW), what to see (Poland) ????
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go for a walk around this very beautiful and very historic Polish city and let's see some of the most important sites.
Kraków, a southern Poland city near the border of the Czech Republic, is known for its well-preserved medieval core and Jewish quarter. Its old town – ringed by Planty Park and remnants of the city’s medieval walls – is centered on the stately, expansive Rynek Glówny (market square). This plaza is the site of the Cloth Hall, a Renaissance-era trading outpost, and St. Mary’s Basilica, a 14th-century Gothic church.
Poland is the sixth most populous member state of the European Union.[8] Poland's capital and largest metropolis is Warsaw. Other major cities include Kraków, Łódź, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, and Szczecin. Poland is bordered by the Baltic Sea, Lithuania, and Russia's Kaliningrad Oblast to the north, Belarus and Ukraine to the east, Slovakia and the Czech Republic to the south, and Germany to the west.

20 Things to do in Kraków, Poland Travel Guide video transcript:
We kicked off this trip to Poland with a visit to Krakow, a city people have been telling us to visit for years and now we know why. Krakow in the summertime was wonderful! We spent our time enjoying castle views from the river side, exploring neighbourhoods covered in street art, eating some of the best pierogie of our lives, and also discovering what we think may be the best ice cream. The following is our travel guide to some of the best things to do in Krakow!
Wawel Castle is Krakow's crowning jewel, and for centuries it was the residence of the kings of Poland. You can see a mix of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque architecture all in one place.
While in the city, we also had to walk the Royal Route, which was once the historic coronation path of Polish kings.
After visiting the basilica, we spent a bit of time walking the Main Square, which just so happens to be Europe's largest medieval town square.
And that’s it for our visit to Krakow! We hope this video gave you a few ideas of things to do around the city. If you have any other places to add to this list or any tips for fellow travellers visiting Krakow feel free to share those.
This is part of our Travel in Poland video series showcasing Polish food, Polish culture, Polish cuisine while visiting Kraków Polska.

Krakow Drone Flight: Kraków, also spelled Cracow or Krakow in English, is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. Situated on the Vistula River in the Lesser Poland region, the city dates back to the 7th century. Kraków was the official capital of Poland until 1596 and has traditionally been one of the leading centres of Polish academic, economic, cultural and artistic life. Cited as one of Europes most beautiful cities, its Old Town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city has grown from a Stone Age settlement to Polands second most important city. It began as a hamlet on Wawel Hill and was already being reported as a busy trading centre of Central Europe in 965. With the establishment of new universities and cultural venues at the emergence of the Second Polish Republic in 1918 and throughout the 20th century, Kraków reaffirmed its role as a major national academic and artistic centre. The city has a population of about 770,000, with approximately 8 million additional people living within a 100 km (62 mi) radius of its main square. [wikipedia // Google]

KRAKOW (CRACOW), EXPLORING the exceptional POLISH PAINTERS ????️ MUSEUM, POLAND
SUBSCRIBE: - Here's my review of the exceptional Polish Painters Museum located in the center of the beautiful city of Krakow in Poland. The gallery is divided into a series of salons that take you on a tour of Polish art history. Among them are the Enlightenment Room, featuring both Polish and foreign classicists, the Michalowski Room, featuring Polish romanticism and the beginnings of nationalist art, and the Chelmonski Room, displaying Polish impressionism and the beginnings of symbolism. Some of the most famous historical paintings of local 19th-century artist Jan Matejko can be seen.

Cracow Apartment Tour-is it better than a hotel? Kraków, Poland
******Available in HD******
Hi, everybody!
Today I'm showing you the apartment I stayed in during my trip to Kraków, Poland,
I booked it via booking.com,
It was huge, 2 rooms, a big living room, a kitchen, a balcony and a bathroom,
I think it was much more better than a hotel, more space, we could cook our own food in there and what is the most important thing:
We stayed in the centre, walking distance from Kazimierz-The Old Jewish Quarter and the Old Town in Cracow,
If you wanna book this exact apartment, check this link:
Thank you very much for watching, don't forget to subscribe my channel and visit my social media!

Magical Christmas Market in Kraków Poland. Must Visit! Best Christmas Market in Europe.
This week we’re back in Poland, in the amazing city of Kraków checking out what might be one of the best Christmas Markets in Europe. This is actually our very first European Christmas market which makes it extra exciting for us!
Krakow’s Christmas Market takes place in the Main Market Square, which also happens to be one of the biggest squares in Europe.
While visiting the Christmas Market we try mulled wine (hot spiced wine also called Grzaniec Galicyjski in Polish), oscypek which is smoked sheep cheese from the south of Poland, Polish Pierogi, and potato pancakes.
While here we also check out the Christmas tree in the square, as well as the different stalls to see what types of things you can buy at the Krakow Christmas Market.

W okresie 2017/18, gdy Kraków był ozdobiony świątecznymi iluminacjami, szata zimowa pojawiła się na bardzo krótko. Postanowiłem więc upamiętnić ten krótki czas, gdy spadł śnieg, a wieczorny Kraków był jeszcze świątecznie rozświetlony, ozdobiony choinkami i krakowskimi szopkami.

5 BEST Polish food to try in Krakow
#PolishFood #KrakowFood #KrakowStreetFood #StreetFood #FoodVlogs
Consider this your essential Polish Food guide. Polish Street food is great, there is a large variety and all very delicious and fairly cheap. The best Polish street food can be found in Krakow, which is the most visited Polish city. The variety and selection of Polish food in Krakow is amazing. One of the best ways to experience Krakow is through the Polish food varieties and the Polish street food on offer. In this video we will take you on a tour of the best Polish street food options in Krakow.
Best Polish food in Krakow:
-Obwarzanki: There are street carts all over Krakow serving these inexpensive bagels. Usually served with poppy seeds, but also available topped with cheese or sesame seeds.
-Pierogi: This is the typical Polish Dumpling which can be found in most restaurants serving Polish Food in Krakow. Pierogi can be filled with either sweet or savoury fillings. You can also buy pierogi at the grocery store or markets, which you can make at home.
-Polish Donuts / Polish pączki: These are lighter and fluffier than American Donuts. These are cooked with a small amount of alcohol which results in less oil being absorbed.
-Zapiekanka at Plac Nowy: Zapiekanka is essentially a large piece of flat bread with various toppings, very similar to a Pizza.
-Żurek (a Polish Rye Soup): This is a bitter polish soup with egg and smoked sausage, often served in a bread bowl.
-Lody / Polish Ice Cream: There are so many ice cream shops in Krakow. The Polish ice cream has a higher fat content, so tends to be more creamy than in other countries. Well worth a try, especially during hot days. Here is a link to a blog with some good ice cream places:
Krakow has many excellent restaurants. There are many Michelin guide mentioned restaurants in Krakow. We went to three different restaurants. Here is the list of Michelin guide mentioned restaurants in Krakow:
