E320 Guy between Kazan and Perm

It's Day #11 and the trek through Russia continues as leave Kazan on our way to Perm. This is the second to last day of driving for the second leg of the Paris-Beijing 2006 E Class Experience and we learn about changing tires and putting on chains, just in time. On our way to Perm we hit the first meaningful snow of the trip. It makes for one of the longest days of the tour. The E320 Guy reports.

Burned alive: Inside video from deadly party fire claiming over 100

A three day period of mourning has been declared in the city of Perm (Пермь) after the nightclub fire which claimed the lives of over 100 people. Authorities say it was most likely caused by an indoor fireworks display that went wrong. The fire started at around 1 am local time as more than 200 people gathered to celebrate the club's eighth anniversary. Most victims are said to have died from smoke inhalation, severe burns and during the ensuing crush as people fought to escape. The night club has been almost completely burned out.

This is a video we made for a school project.

There are clips from two interviews we made our-self with a man and a woman (We know their real names) The woman has worked with street children in Russia and Mexico for many years. The man has been with the Danish defense in Russia and lived there for three years.

It's in Danish and Norwegein - so we made english subtitles for it (If it's not a 100 % correct, were sorry! But we were in a hurry to make it...)

This is more of a downtown theater that does not have as much backstage space as the Meridian. Stage right there are dressing rooms and a cross behind but the wings are small. It is also on the second floor with no elevator, so we would be carrying all our material up.
