Mustafa Kemal Atatürk`ün Milli Mücadele Çalışmaları sırasında kiracı olarak kaldığı ev (Aralık 1918-16 Mayıs 1919) 28 Mayıs 1928’de İstanbul Belediyesi (Şehremaneti) tarafından satın alınarak, 15 Haziran 1942’de İstanbul Vali ve Belediye Başkanı Lütfi Kırdar tarafından Atatürk İnkılabı Müzesi olarak ziyarete açıldı. 9 Ocak 1962’de geçirdiği yangın tehlikesinden sonra onarılarak 4 Mart 1962’de açılan müze, 1977’de Belediye tarafından Turing Otomobil Kurumu ve İş Bankası’na restore ettirildi ve 19 Mayıs 1981’de tekrar ziyarete açıldı. Müze 1989 yılında onarım amacıyla kapatılarak İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi tarafından bir kez daha restore edilerek 1991 yılında yeniden hizmete girdi. Mustafa Kemal Paşa, Aralık 1918-16 Mayıs 1919 tarihleri arasında kaldığı bu evde asker ve sivil arkadaşlarıyla birlikte vatanın kurtuluş planlarını hazırladı. Çalışma arkadaşları arasında, İsmet (İnönü) Paşa, Ali Fuat (Cebesoy)Paşa, Kazım (Karabekir) Paşa ve Rauf Orbay gibi önemli isimler vardı. Mustafa Kemal Paşa döneminde evin giriş katında yaver ve yemek odaları, 2 nci katında toplantı ve çalışma salonu ile yatak odaları bulunuyordu. 3 ncü kat ise annesi Zübeyde Hanım ve kızkardeşi Makbule Hanım tarafından kullanılıyordu. Atatürk Müzesi koleksiyonunun önemli bölümünü Atatürk`ün kişisel eşyaları, kıyafetleri, üniformaları, askeri ve sivil yaşamına ait fotoğrafları, el yazısı ile yazdığı çeşitli belgeleri, madalyaları, hatıra eşyaları oluşturmaktadır. Müzeye kızkardeşi Makbule Atadan tarafından armağan edilen eşyalar arasında sivil giysiler, Mustafa Kemal’’ armasını taşıyan mendil ve gömlekler ile iç çamaşırları bulunmaktadır. Müşir üniforması ve Sivas Kongresinde giydiği elbise, tarihi değeri önemle vurgulanacak parçalar arasındadır. Yazı takımı ile ilgili parçalar, sigara tabakaları, madalyalar, Amerika Başkanı Roosevelt’in hediyesi olan ahşap möbleli radyo-pikap hatıra eşyaları arasında yer almaktadır. Ressam İbrahim Çallı ve Zeki Kocamemi tarafından yapılmış yağlı boya tablolar da koleksiyonun önemli parçalarındandır. Müzede orijinal eserler arasında V.Pisani tarafından yapılmış olan ve Kurtuluş Savaşı`nı simgeleyen suluboya tablolar da bulunmaktadır.

Çekirge Caddesi üzerinde bulunan binanın 19. Yüzyılınsonlarında yapıldığı tahmin edilmektedir. Atatürk’ün Bursa’yı ikinciziyaretinde (20-14 Ocak 1923) Bursa belediyesi bu binayı Miralay Mehmet Bey’densatın alarak kendisine hediye etmiştir. Bundan sonra Atatürk Bursa’yıziyaretlerinde bu evde kalmış, 29 Ekim 1973 tarihinde Cumhuriyet’in 50. Yılındamüze haline dönüştürülerek ziyarete açılmıştır.

Thousands of people on Tuesday came together on the 26th of August , yesterday in Ankara to form the world's largest portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of Turkish republic.
At least 6,000 volunteers gathered outside the Anitkabir mausoleum, Ataturk's final resting place, to form the larger-than-life portrait for an event marking Turkey's Victory Day,30th of August.
Wearing black outfits and making a heart shape with their hands in the air, they formed the portrait as well as Ataturk's signature as they sought to set a world record.
They stood still for 30 minutes under a searing sun while a helicopter carrying Guinness World Records officials hovered overhead.
The event drew an enthusiastic response from locals as well as people from other cities who flocked to Ankara to take part in the feat. Another 6,000 people were left out due to limited capacities as the authorities informed.
The portrait is certified as the world's largest by Guinness World Records.
Two previous record attempts in the western cities of Izmir and Bursa, in which participation was lower, failed to get into the record books.

Hunkar Pavilion is in Temenyeri neigbourhood which is on the skirts of Uludağ and has a wonderful view of the city.The building was built by Governer Mehmet Salih as a hunting lodge upon news that Sultan Abdülmecit would honor Bursa in 1844. Hunkar Pavilion reflects the French Ampire style of the period with its architectural design and interior decoration. The engravings used on the ceilings are a feature of this style and they are gorgeous.

Restoratıon Works
Hünkar Pavilion is an estate of Bursa Metropolitian Municipiality since 1947. Later, the restoration works were completed with the common efforts of National palaces department of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and Bursa Metropolitian Municipiality.
Existing furniture was repaired in Dolmabahçe Palace Restoration Atelier and converted in to the original forms After the comletion of these restoration Works Hünkar Pavilion Museum was opened as a museum 29.May 2003.

Social Facilities were opened in July 2009 in order to make public get used to museums and integrate with museums. Located in the heart of history and nature Hünkar Pavilion Social Facılıtıes hosts visitors until midnight with a wonderful Bursa view.

Ismet Inonu's speech in the first documentary of Turkey
In 1933 Republic of Turkey was celebrating its 10th anniversary. To commemorate the event, Atatürk, the founding father of Turkey, requested a documentary about the celebrations from the Turkey's friendliest neighbour at the time, USSR. For celebrations USSR sent a delegation led by Defence Minister Voroshilov, along with a movie crew led by director Sergei Yutkevich. So it's essentially a Soviet-Turkish visual. The produced work, Türkiye'nin Kalbi Ankara, is the first documentary in Turkey.
Turkey and Soviets had very good relations which began in 1920's when Soviets became the foremost supporter of the Turkey during Turkish War of Independence, this lasted until the Cold War.
In the following prologue part you will see İsmet İnönü, first prime minister of Turkey, speaking about the celebrations and Turkey's friends (with English subtitles).
