Seurasaari open-air museum
The open-air museum of Seurasaari is located on a beautiful green island just a few kilometres from the heart of Helsinki. The island is a tranquil oasis in the midst of the city and at the museum the traditional Finnish way of life is displayed in the cottages, farmsteads and manors of the past four centuries that have been relocated from all around Finland.
These videos are shot as I have seen them. There is minimum amount of processing with the material, to keep the video as authentic as possible. There is no music just the actual voices. Highly produced nice looking films can be found somewhere else. This is supposed to look true and raw. Videos have been shot with iphone 4S.

This grand 1920s hotel is within 5 minutes’ walk of Helsinki Central Station and the Esplanadi shopping streets. It offers free WiFi, a popular breakfast buffet and a rooftop bar with panoramic city views.

The Clarion Hotel is a very new hotel in Helsinki. It is a bit off the center, but the tram stops right in front of the hotel and brings you direct into the city center and also the exhibition center. The port area around the hotel creates a kind of cool ambiance, although there is still some constructions going on around the hotel as this is a newly developed area. The hotel has a very modern ambiance. Rooms are a bit small and quite unimpressive, but beds are comfortable and bathroom size is fine. Best thing in the hotel is the rooftop bar that offers views all over Helsinki and serves very nice drinks as well - during the weekend it can get crowded here. Another plus is the rooftop outdoor pool, which is a bit small in size but it is partly hanging over the building with a glass floor - so very cool. Also Sauna and gym area are good. Had also a lunch and a dinner at the hotel, which were both very good.

Solo Sokos Hotel Torni opened in 1931 and was the tallest building in Finland for more than 40 years. The concept of this hotel will change, thus it is expected that the meeting rooms will no longer exist in it.
The comparison video will be made in 2021, when the hotel opens after a big renovation.
