April 20th, 2017 -- On my 42nd outing of 2017 and 2nd day down in Myrtle Beach, my friend Mike and I explored the Intracoastal Waterway in the morning and the Myrtle Beach State Park Pier in the afternoon! Sadly, the Intracoastal turned out to be brackish; thus, it wasn't as productive as we expected it to be. The action on the pier wouldn't have been great either, if the Snapper Blues didn't show up to play with us. :)

Crossing Delaware Memorial Bridge From New Jersey to Delaware
The Delaware Memorial Bridge is a twin suspension bridge crossing the Delaware River. The toll bridges carry Interstate 295 and U.S. Route 40 between Delaware and New Jersey. The bridge was designed by the firm known today as HNTB with consulting help from engineer Othmar Ammann, whose other designs include the Walt Whitman Bridge (which is similar in appearance, except for the fact that it is a single span) and Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. It is also one of only two crossings of the Delaware River with both U.S. Highway and Interstate Highway designations, the other being the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.
The bridges provide a regional connection for long-distance travelers.[1] While not a part of Interstate 95, they connect two parts of the highway: the Delaware Turnpike (Interstate 95 in Delaware) on the south side with the New Jersey Turnpike (later Interstate 95 in New Jersey) on the north side. They also connect Interstate 495, U.S. Route 13, and Route 9 in New Castle, Delaware with U.S. Route 130 in Pennsville Township, New Jersey (at the settlement of Deepwater, New Jersey).
The bridges are dedicated to those from both New Jersey and Delaware who died in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Persian Gulf War. On the Delaware side of the bridge is a War Memorial, visible from the northbound-side lanes. The toll facility is operated by the Delaware River and Bay Authority.
The Delaware Memorial Bridge is the southernmost fixed vehicular crossing of the Delaware River and the only fixed vehicular crossing between Delaware and New Jersey. However, at Fort Mott, N.J., there is a small amount of land on the New Jersey side of the river that is part of the State of Delaware, and thus there are pedestrian crossings in between those states, but not spanning the river. The Cape May–Lewes Ferry provides an alternate route between travelers from New Jersey and the Northeastern States to southern Delaware.

Catching a Nice Musky While Bank Fishing
As I begin to type this description, it is 25 degrees outside, and there is a noreaster said to bring a foot of snow to my area in a few days... Not a big fan of the return of winter... BUT
I got out for a short session earlier in the week to try my luck at the musky, I had lost one the week before and since then its all I could think about.. I waded the shorelines, throwing an Xrap 10 on my light spinning outfit and got a very subtle bite which ended up being a fat, beautiful 40 Purebred Musky, as you can see the fish really didn't fight much at all due to what I assume was the still very cold water, I also really wanted to catch that fish so I got him on shore as fast as I possibly could, I am 99% sure it is the same fish I lost the week prior, it was in the same spot and was the same size/color... I didn't bring the fish on shore because there is a good chance he would thrash around and hurt himself, these muskies are delicate and really need to be handled as carefully as possible. This was the first time in my life I set out to catch muskies, and caught one while casting/retrieving... the only other time I have caught one while targeting, I was trolling in my kayak.. I have caught a few other muskies but never while targeting them, always as bycatch, and to say it felt good to catch one would be an understatement. This year I plan on giving these fish more of a chance, in years past I have tried to catch them but always failed miserably, but yea... until next time.. Thanks for Watching! Always remember to handle the muskies with care, revive and release!

June 27th, 2017 -- For our 2nd day down in Louisiana and my 76th outing of the year, my father and I decided to hit the good old Lake Pontchartrain for whatever bites! As you will see in this video, the results for the day were truly interesting -- a few saltwater Species and a few freshwater Species as well.
The Lake Pontchartrain can be quite a tough place to fish from shore! On the other hand, it is one of the biggest brackish estuaries in the United States of America. Thus, if you folks ever have a chance, I recommend you all to give it a try. :)
