HIKING THE ATLAS MOUNTAINS :: IMLIL VALLEY, MOROCCO
we decided to do this airbnb experience hike to the Atlas Mountains + Imlil Valley. We hiked up to the waterfall and then hiked to a berber village for a homemade organic lunch. I HIGHLY recommend this day trip with Mohammed + Wassim -- they were incredibly sweet and made the trip even better.

???????? Climbing mount Toubkal (Morocco): travel documentary
#Toubkal #Morocco #Travel
This time we travel to Morocco. With Engel and Ricardo, we climbed Mount Toubkal. With its 4,167mt, is the highest peak in North Africa. From the top, we experienced amazing views of the Atlas mountains. The documentary tells how the 2-day trek was organized and how difficult is to get to the top. Everyone can do it, but need to be prepared for a trek that is technically easy, but challenging from a physical standpoint. All started in the village of Imlil, at 1,750mt. The first day was easy, it took 6 hours, including long stop for lunch and filming,to reach the base camp at 3,200mt. We got there just in time before it started raining. The day after we woke up at 4am to start acending. It was a strenuous walk uphill, with a cold wind blowing and the sun coming out as we were approaching the top. After having enjoyed the view from the peak, we started descending. We took a de-tour to nearby mount Tibherine (3,880mt) to see the debris of a plane that crashed here in 1969. Apparently it was a cargo plane that was bringing ammunition to the Government of Biafra during the Nigerian civil war. As we descend to the valley, we got a small injury which forced one of us to finish the last few miles on a mule

Trekking day 1 of 3 in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco.
A great adventure trekking through the Atlas mountains in Morocco, going through the many villages and eating on a beautiful pass with a view that was breathtaking. A once in a life time experience with a fantastic group of brothers.
This is part 1 of the trek, there is a part 2 of the biking in the mountains that you still need to watch.

Trekking in Morocco's Atlas Mountains With Ascent Of Mt Toubkal
The High Atlas in Morocco is one of the most outstanding mountain regions in Africa and with our trips you are able to experience the hiking in the region with the help of the local Berber guides.
We focus on using local accommodation and walking huts of a high standard and aim to really immerse you in the beauty and culture of the area.
Walking in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco is a unique and rewarding experience. ClimbingToubkal have several trips highlighting the beauty of this region.
Morocco's rugged High Atlas region, and the desert that lies just to its east, is home to the country's most raw and spectacular scenery. Villages snuggle into deep valleys or cling precariously to mountain slopes. Snow-capped peaks shimmer on the horizon, while below a carpet of lush green fields rolls out before you. This is the number one destination in Morocco for outdoor activities, and the attractions of hiking and mountain biking bring thousands of outdoor enthusiasts here every year. Even if working up a sweat isn't your thing, this region has plenty to offer. The kasbahs of Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou, Tifoultoute, and Telouet should convince even the most seasoned city slicker that there are plenty of things to do

HIKING TO IMLIL VALLEY - HIGH ATLAS TREK MOROCCO - DAY 3/4
The sun was out and the snow hadn't fully melted yet, This left an incredibly stunning look to the mountains. We began hiking to Imlil valley, had lunch at a spectacular view point. When you visit Morocco, I fully recommend doing this trek. This trek was made possible by Aztat Treks. All opinions are my own through out this video and on the videos to come.
