RedKangaroo Trampoline Park NOW OPEN in Reading!
Reading, get, set, bounce! Britain’s most exciting new chain of trampoline parks has arrived in Reading: RedKangaroo. A mammoth £1.7 million refurbishment has completely transformed the tired former indoor go-kart track in Bridgewater Close (off Portman Road, close to Tesco Reading West Extra), into a jaw-dropping hopping-haven. At 36,000 square feet it’s equivalent in size to no fewer than 12 tennis courts. RedKangaroo houses a whole host of super-bouncy, super-sized interconnecting trampolines plus more air-bound-activities and state-of-the-art equipment than in any other UK park!
Firm in the belief that everyone is ‘born to bounce’; RedKangaroo Reading features sessions and facilities for ALL ages and abilities. As well as a huge main court with wall-to-wall trampolines, which are much bigger than the industry standard in other parks for safety reasons, RedKangaroo offers a whole host of additional aerial activities:
• Timed ninja courses for those who love a challenge! The assault course features a demanding vertical climbing wall, hanging bags to swing from and ‘doors’ to clamber through, all without touching the ground!
• RedKangaroo’s wipeout style game: players jump over or duck under a central rotating ‘sweeper’ arm while trying desperately to perch safely on their podiums without toppling off…
• A huge half pipe to practice gravity-defying parkour flips and tricks
• An extra-long, extra-boingy 21 metre tumble track for super-springy somersaults
• Angled trampolines to ricochet bouncers off the walls
• A double cardio wall for two people to test endurance and reaction skills against each other; who can leap to hit the lights in the fastest time?
• Look out Spiderman! For those seeking extra thrills jumpers can launch themselves into two metres of vertical wall running
• A gigantic foam pit featuring an epic gladiator beam
• The RedKangaroo ‘power tower’; clamber upwards through a mad cat’s cradle of giant elastic bands then swoosh down a grin-inducing spiral slide
• Two addictive slam dunk basketball areas with added bounce to really whop that ball through the hoop!
• Amazing dodgeball courts where players can battle it out! RedKangaroo’s courts can host tournaments of all abilities including recognised dodgeball leagues

A short walk round Central Pool Reading. This was taken on Tuesday 30 January 2018 whilst the Reading Masters held their final session at the pool. The next day was the last day Central was open to the public.

It's the Easter holidays and my YouTuber friends were looking for something to do, and someone suggested going to the trampoline park for some bouncing and exercise / keep fit! Great idea, just like the 'Bouncy Bouncy' song from The Mighty Boosh.
It was really quiet at the Trampoline Park, not many other children / kids, and so I was able to film a kind of vlog / YouTube video of us bouncing everything and just having lots of fun, jumping, playing football / soccer and falling over - very funny, although maybe not quite You've Been Framed with Harry Hill funny. :) The next day we all ached and ached, but it was a great day, and this YouTube video is such a nice memory.
