the 10.000 fireworks @ayu matsuri....there are some people coming from other place here in japan just to watch hanabi of atsugi.....too much entiresting.how about you there try to come and watch the hanabi presentation here @ atsugi next year. ^-^ come on...........

Naval Air Facility Atsugi lies in the heart of the Kanto Plain on Honshu, the main island of Japan. NAF Atsugi has been home to presently 10,000 Sailors / Marines / Dod Civilians and their families since the beginning of the Korean War. It is also the only permanently forward deployed, co-located Air Wing, Carrier Air Wing Five. It is the largest United States Navy air base in the Pacific Ocean and houses the squadrons of Carrier Air Wing 5, which deploys with the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN-73).
The Base is separated by mission. One is the operational mission and used by both United States and Japan. The other part of the base is a joint area for administrative functions.
