Hase-dera temple is located in Atsugi City of Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan.
There are other temples with this same name (Hase-dera) in Japan, specially the large Hase-dera temple in Kamakura district, also in Kanagawa Prefecture.
The main deity at this temple is called Iiyama Kannon. This Kannon temple is one of the thirty three temples of Bando pilgrimage circuit.

飯山観音 - Iiyama Kannon. Atsugi, Kanagawa Japan
飯山観音 - Iiyama Kannon is an 800 year old Koyasan Shingon sect Buddhist temple located in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Popular in the Kamakura period, this temple was a centre for all embracing studies linking the Shingon sect with the Tendai, Ritsu and Zen sects.
The main hall of the temple was reconstructed in the early Edo period (1600-1868). It enshrines a bronze Juichimen Kannon Bosatsu statue that dates back to the Kamakura period (1185-1333).
Young people looking for a life partner come to the temple to pray to Juichimen Kannon Bosatsu that the Buddhist god will help them to find a partner.

Ayase City and Atsugi Base
Naval Air Facility Atsugi lies in the heart of the Kanto Plain on Honshu, the main island of Japan. NAF Atsugi has been home to presently 10,000 Sailors / Marines / Dod Civilians and their families since the beginning of the Korean War. It is also the only permanently forward deployed, co-located Air Wing, Carrier Air Wing Five. It is the largest United States Navy air base in the Pacific Ocean and houses the squadrons of Carrier Air Wing 5, which deploys with the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN-73).
The Base is separated by mission. One is the operational mission and used by both United States and Japan. The other part of the base is a joint area for administrative functions.

It is also a milestone for me as well! It has already been a year since I have started my creative journey and I have come a long way since my first upload of Bon Odori 2018.
We got to see some amazing performances by a great band called Sweet Child:
As well as a soloist and a local Dance Crew!
As the night continued on there was a lot of Dancing! My favorite part was the mesmerizing Awa Odori Dancers!
To top it all off, why not end it with fireworks? Truly an explosive tour here in Japan!

Halloween festival was celebrated at hon atsugi park in japan today.. They had lot of events food stalls and kids play items.. Ther was dance events going on.. Many wore Halloween costume and enjoyed there.

Pence arrives in Japan at Atsugi US base
(18 Apr 2017) US Vice President Mike Pence arrived in Japan on Tuesday for the second stop of a 10-day Asia tour. His plane touched down at the US military's Atsugi base outside Tokyo.
Later, Pence began talks with Japanese leaders expected to focus largely on trade with America's anchor ally in the region, though tensions with North Korea loomed large.

During Naval Air Facility Atsugi's Bon Odori festival ,the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and Ayase city hosted a Mikoshi, a portable Shinto shrine,which people carry on their shoulders. They carried the Mikoshi around NAF Atsugi's Taylor Field to let Americans experience a Japanese tradition.
