Auckland domain, Auckland city, New Zealand
Auckland domain, New Zealand, long version
We went to Auckland domain to see the cherry blossom trees in the early October.
Auckland Domain is the oldest park in Auckland and is located in the central city. The two main popular attractions located in Auckland domain are the Auckland Museum and the Winter Garden.
The information below is from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Auckland Domain is Auckland's oldest park, and at 75 hectares one of the largest in the city. Located in the central suburb of Grafton, the park contains all of the explosion crater and most of the surrounding tuff ring of the Pukekawa volcano.
The park is home to one of Auckland's main tourist attractions, the Auckland War Memorial Museum, which sits prominently on the crater rim (tuff ring). Several sports fields occupy the floor of the crater, circling to the south of the cone, while the rim opposite the Museum hosts the cricket pavilion and Auckland City Hospital. The Domain Wintergardens, with two beautiful glass houses, lie on the north side of the central scoria cone. The fernery has been constructed in an old quarry in part of the cone. The duck ponds lie in the northern sector of the explosion crater, which is breached to the north with a small overflow stream.

The Auckland Domain is Auckland's oldest park, and located in the central suburb of Grafton,The park is home to some Auckland's main tourist attractions, the Auckland War Memorial Museum and The Wintergarden.
The Auckland War Memorial Museum (or simply the Auckland Museum) is one of New Zealand's most important museums and war memorials. Its collections concentrate on New Zealand history(and especially the history of the Auckland Region), natural history, as well as military history.
The Wintergardens consists of two large glasshouses: one non-heated Temperate House and one Tropical House (heated to an average of 28°C). In between the two glasshouses there is an ornate courtyard with several neoclassical statues and a sunken pond in the centre.

4K War Memorial, Mount Eden Auckland NEW ZEALAND Part 3
The Auckland War Memorial Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira or simply the Auckland Museum is one of New Zealand's most important museums and war memorials. Its collections concentrate on New Zealand history (and especially the history of the Auckland Region), natural history, and military history. The museum is also one of the most iconic Auckland buildings, constructed in the neo-classicist style, and sitting on a grassed plinth (the remains of a dormant volcano) in the Auckland Domain, a large public park close to the Auckland CBD.
Mount Eden is a suburb in Auckland, New Zealand whose name honours George Eden, 1st Earl of Auckland. It is 4 kilometres south of the Central Business District (CBD). Mt Eden Road winds its way around the side of Mount Eden Domain and continues to weave back and forth as it descends into the valley; it runs south from Eden Terrace to Three Kings. Mt Eden village centre is located roughly between Valley Road and Grange Road. The domain is accessible on foot from many of the surrounding streets, and by vehicle from Mt Eden Road. The central focus of the suburb is Maungawhau / Mount Eden, a dormant volcano whose summit is the highest natural point on the Auckland isthmus.

Auckland - City Video Guide
Welcome to Auckland. The native Māori people named the area Tāmaki Makaurau, meaning desired by a hundred men. The attraction is still there today, because Auckland is now the most populous city in New Zealand.
In the City of Sails you are always surrounded by water, as becomes clear when you stand on the top of the top of Mount Eden. A nice inner-city beach is Mission Bay.
Other visitor attractions in Auckland include the stately Auckland War Memorial Museum in Auckland Domain park. Daredevils can base jump from the Sky Tower. Children will love the Rainbow's End theme park and the Auckland Zoo. Auckland has many diverse neighborhoods, such as hip Ponsonby and laid-back Devonport. From the city, you can set sail to the forest reserve of Rangitoto Island and Waiheke island with its wineries.
Auckland gives access to the scenic coastline of the country's volcanic North Island. On the other side of the Waitakere Ranges regional parkland is Piha Beach.
The city's unique Māori influence combined with its comfortable urban facilities and rugged nature make it worthwhile to travel to the far southwest of the Pacific Ocean to see Auckland.

Talofa lava! Malo e lelei! Bula vinaka! Fakaalofa lahi atu! Kia orana! Tēnā koutou katoa! He may not have much experience with Pasifika languages, but Prince Harry was loudly applauded at the event celebrating Pasifika communities' cultural contributions.Meghan Markle is wrapping up her 16-day royal tour of Australasia. Currently in New Zealand, the pregnant Meghan Markle wears £2,683 dress attended a reception hosted at the Auckland War Museum in with Prince Harry.
El penúltimo día de The Royal Down Under ha terminado.

TOUR OF ALBERT PARK | AUCKLAND NEW ZEALAND
Today i wanted to give you guys a walking tour of Albert Park, here in downtown Auckland | New Zealand.
Albert Park is a public park in central Auckland, bounded by Wellesley Street East, Princes Street, Bowen Avenue and Kitchener Street. From the entrance at the corner of Bowen Ave and Kitchener St, sealed footpaths climb steeply through native trees to the large flat area at the summit, where a formal layout of paths and flower gardens encircle a fountain.
Albert Park occupies much of the site of the Albert Barracks, one of Auckland's early European military fortifications, which in turn was built on the previous site of Te Horotiu pa. The barracks consisted of a number of wooden and masonry structures standing in an enclosed area surrounded by a rock fortification built of the local volcanic stone. A portion of this wall remains visible in the adjacent University of Auckland grounds, and is registered by Heritage New Zealand as a Category I historic place.
After wandering around Albert Park and down Queen Street i headed back to my friend Tims place to try a new Indian restaurant around the corner in Mt Eden then we discussed our top five countries we want to visit but haven't been to yet.
Hope you guys are loving the Auckland videos I'm having an absolute blast here! More Auckland adventures to come! :)

More information about Albert Park from Wikipedia:
The Park was laid out in the 1880s and originally had commanding views over the city and harbour. The view now is of modern office blocks, except where mature trees have hidden the buildings. The Park contains a number of interesting specimen trees dating from the 1880s to the first World War.
A caretaker's residence was provided which still stands on the eastern side of the part adjacent to Princes Street. After 1906 this Gothic-styled cottage was occupied by the City Park Superintendent Thomas Pearson, who died here in 1931. It is currently occupied by a Clock Museum.
The design of the park was the result of a public competition and follows a formal layout with a main north-south axis. To the north of the axis is the bronze statue of Queen Victoria (1897); to the south is a bandstand (James Slator 1901). Between them is a large cast iron fountain imported from Great Britain in 1881 which forms the centre piece of the park.
The fountain is distinguished by statues of dolphins ridden by cherubs blowing horns which spout water. The fountain is surmounted by a generic female figure which also has a horn spouting water.
The statue of Queen Victoria was one of several similar sculptures installed by municipal authorities throughout the British Empire following the monarch Diamond Jubilee in 1897. This sculpture was cast in London and unveiled with considerable ceremony here as part of the Jubilee celebrations.
The red granite pedestal is intact but the ensemble originally included a massive cast iron ornamental fence which has been removed.
