चमोली गढ़वाल में बसी यह ख़ूबसूरत जगह किसी स्वर्ग से कम नहीं है। यहाँ आने के लिए आपको सड़क मार्ग की सहायता लेनी होगी। आप अपनी सुविधा के अनुसार इस जगह में घूम सकते है। उत्तराखंड को देवभूमि कहा जाता है और यह जगह धार्मिक रूप से भी प्रसिद्ध है। बद्रीनाथ धाम यहाँ से पास ही है। यहाँ लोग जोशीमठ से होते हुए पहुँचते है। जोशीमठ में आपको बहुत सारे होटल रहने के लिए मिल जायेंगे और औली जाने के लिए आप यहाँ से पैदल मार्ग, रोपवे या फिर सड़क मार्ग की सहायता ले सकते है।
औली ट्रैकिंग और स्कीइंग के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। यहाँ जनवरी से लेकर मार्च तक स्कीइंग की जाती है है। इन महीनो में देशी तथा विदेशी पर्यटक बर्फ़बारी और स्कीइंग का भरपूर आनंद लेते है। आप सब लोग भी जरूर इस जगह पर शिरकत करे और प्रकृति की इस स्वर्ग जैसी जगह का आनंद ले।

1 Gurso Bugyal :-
Perched at an elevation of 3,056m above sea level Gurson Bugyal is a picturesque location from where you can view imposing Himalayas like Nanda Devi, Trishul and Dron. 3 km trek from Auli will lead you to this scenic location.
You can also trek towards Chattarkund which is just one km away.
2. Kwani Bugyal :-
Situated 12 km from Gurso Bugyal at an elevation of 3380m above sea level Kwani Bugyal is a very popular destination with trekkers. It is best to visit Kawani Bugyal from June to September.
3. View Points :-
The panoramic view in Auli can be astonishing as it is surrounded by very high peaks including Nanda Devi (7817 m).
There is also a Hanuman Temple which is supposed to be the place where Hanuman took some rest when he had come to the Himalayas to procure Sanjivani to rescue Laxman, the younger brother of Rama. Visitors can also enjoy a cable car here which can give them a beautiful view of the surroundings. There is an artificial lake as well in Auli which is the world's highest man-made lake.
4. Chenab Lake :-
The least discovered and not so visited Chenab Lake is worth a visit for the calm and serene atmosphere that it offers.
The virginity of this place holds the sights of tourists and makes it an enchanting spot.
5. Trishul Peak :-
The three Himalayan mountain peaks of western Kumaun as a whole forms the Trishul peak . It is having a height of 7120m. The Trishul group forms the southwest corner of the ring of peaks which encloses the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. In 1907, the main peak, Trisul I, became the first peak over 7,000 m to have ever been climbed by someone. The peak can be best viewed from Kausani or during the Roopkund Trek .

Auli is a ski destination in Chamoli district in the Himalayan mountains of Uttarakhand, India. Auli, also known as Auli Bugyal, in Garhwali, which means meadow, is located at an elevation of 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) to 3,050 metres (10,010 ft) above sea level.[1] After the creation of the state of Uttarakhand, formerly part of Uttar Pradesh, Auli was marketed as a tourist destination. Auli lies on the way to the Hindu pilgrimage destination of Badrinath. It is surrounded by coniferous and oak forests, with a panoramic view of the peaks of the Himalayas. The slopes are intended for both professional skiers and novices. The Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam Limited (GMVNL) a state govt agency which takes care of this resort, and Uttarakhand Tourism Department conduct winter sports competitions at Auli to encourage skiing in India. It has a 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) cable car, a chairlift and a ski lift, along with a maintained trek route. There is a training facility of Indo-Tibetan Border Police. A small Hindu temple connected with the Hindu epic the Ramayana is also present.

This is the final Episode of Auli- The ski destination of India, Travel series. In this video I tried taking you through all the activity, you can do in Auli and how much it cost and at the very end an interaction with other fellow travellers who stayed in Auli during the night and how much they paid and a foreigner's point of view about Auli.
Auli is beautiful scenic place in the lap of Nand Devi peak and it falls in the route the well known Hindu pilgrimage route known as Char- Dham Yatra. Nestled among the serene heights of the great Himalayas are four pilgrim-destinations namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.
In this Travel journey, I am taking you to the same route of Char- Dham but fact wise we will be closer to Badrinath Temple, which is hardly 40 km away from Auli (Joshimath).
My route to Auli was:
Rishikesh--- Devprayag---Srinagar---Rudraprayag---Karnaprayag---Nandprayag---Chamoli---Joshimath( i.e -Auli ) = 255 km

Countries like Thailand is ranked way above us at 10. Indian government is doing its best to promote tourism in India. However as a responsible citizen of India we have decided to take the responsibility on ourselves to promote tourism in India.

Auli is one of the less explore hill stations in India. Auli, located in the northern state of Uttarakhand, is a new entrant in the tourist map of India. Located in the cradle of snow-capped mountains, Auli is one of the very few places in India where skiing is a major pastime. Gradually Auli is growing like other hill stations in India. The bitter cold winds, the vast snow-covered landscape, the sylvan mountains, all add up to make Auli a skier's paradise. Representing man's constant endeavor to triumph over nature, Auli proves to be an ideal locale for the daring.
Location Of Auli :-
Like many other hill stations in India Auli is situated in Uttarakhand. Auli is towards the north of the state and forms a part of the Garhwal mountain range. It is at a distance of 16 km from Joshimath, on the Badrinath route.
Best Time To Visit :-
There are numerous winter destinations in India which offer a perfect mix of adventure and entertainment, and Auli, which becomes a skier’s paradise during the winter season, is one of them. The period from late November to late March is generally considered ideal for skiers.

Auli is a ski destination in Chamoli district in the Himalayan mountains of Uttarakhand, India. Auli, also known as Auli Bugyal, Heaven on Earth in Garhwali, which means meadow, is located at an elevation of 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) to 3,050 metres (10,010 ft) above sea level. After the creation of the state of Uttarakhand, India. Auli was marketed as a tourist destination and reason is snowfall. Auli lies on the way to the Hindu pilgrimage destination of Badrinath. It is surrounded by coniferous and oak forests, with a panoramic view of the peaks of the Himalayas. The slopes are intended for both professional skiers and novices. The Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam Limited (GMVNL) a state govt agency which takes care of Auli resort, and Uttarakhand Tourism Department conduct winter sports competitions at Auli to encourage skiing in India. It has a 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) cable car, a chairlift and a ski lift, along with a maintained trek route. There is a training facility of Indo-Tibetan Border Police. A small Hindu temple connected with the Hindu epic the Ramayana is also present.
