Official trailer for the short film program Films from the North: GAMES THEY PLAY, presented by Tromsø International Film Festival.
The program will be on tour in cinemas in Norway and Russia in April 2016. (See full tour schedule below.)

In der 1. Reihe entlang Norwegens Küste
Für die Norweger ist sie eine lebende Legende: Reichshauptstraße Nr. 1 wird die Seeverbindung von Bergen im Süden des Landes nach Kirkenes im Norden noch heute genannt.
Auf ihrer Reise legen die komfortablen Schiffe der Hurtigruten in Städten an, die viele Facetten Norwegens widerspiegeln und skandinavische Geschichte geschrieben haben: Ǻlesund, Trondheim und Tromsø. Mit dem Bus geht es bis ans Ende der europäischen Welt: zum Nordkap.
Einer der Höhepunkte der Reise ist der Abstecher in den berühmtem Geirangerfjord. Zum greifen nahe ziehen die Felswände im engen Trollfjord am Schiff vorbei.
Ausflüge führen zum Svartisen-Gletscher und dem Saltstraumen, dem stärksten Malstrom der Welt. Nicht zu vergessen: das einmalige Gipfelpanorama der Lofoten-Inselgruppe mit ihrem Zentrum Vesterålen.
Auf Kurs der alten Postschiff-Linie steuern die Hurtigruten-Schiffe hinein in die Wunderwelt des Hohen Nordens.

Takouto krásnou polárnou nocou ma prekvapila hra po dvoch rokoch hrania. Samozrejme nie je to náhoda, inštaloval som asi pred mesiacom jeden mod na krajšiu nočnú oblohu, obloha sa síce po inštalácii zmenila okamžite, ale tá polárna noc nastala až teraz prví krát a príjemne ma prekvapila. Proste nádhera. Sorry za zhoršenú kvalitu videa.

Die Reisen der traditionellen norwegischen Postschiff-Reederei stehen im Winter unter dem Motto Auf der Jagd nach dem Polarlicht. Auf der MS Nordkapp sind auch zwei Hochzeitspaare dabei: Susanne und Neil McCleod aus Niedersachsen wollen ihre Flitterwochen nachholen, Brigitte und Hans Dieter Röwer feiern an Bord ihre Diamantene Hochzeit.
Am eisigen Rande Europas wollen die vier die Macht und die Schönheit der Natur erleben, die raue See und den peitschenden Wind spüren, über bizarre Küste und berauschende Lichtstimmungen staunen. Susanne und Neil McCleod haben sich einiges vorgenommen und freuen sich ganz besonders auf eine Fahrt mit dem Hundeschlitten. Sie wollen mit dem Schneemobil über einen zugefrorenen See rasen, eine Nacht im eisigen Schneehotel schlafen und Königskrabben für ein romantisches Dinner im Wald fangen. Und beide Paare hoffen natürlich, dass sie das Polarlicht sehen werden. Das wäre der krönende Abschluss ihrer ganz persönlichen Reise ins Glück.

Die Reise-Doku Hurtigruten - die schönste Seereise der Welt von Volker Wischnowski ist ein einmaliges Filmerlebnis in höchster technischer Qualität und mit persönlichem Kommentar des Filmemachers. Eine Fahrt mit einem Schiff der Hurtigruten entlang der norwegischen Küste gilt als die schönste Seereise der Welt. Der Filmemacher Volker Wischnowski hat die Tour im sonnigen Sommer 2013 in Norwegen unternommen, und die Landschaft und das Licht in faszinierenden Filmaufnahmen festgehalten.
Entstanden ist eine Dokumentation über die Schifffahrtsroute, die nicht nur das Leben an Bord, sondern auch viele der angebotenen Ausflüge zeigt. Mit dem Schiff von Bergen nach Kirkenes und wieder zurück, eine Filmreise in traumhaft schönen Aufnahmen, informativ und lebendig.
