Trekking Ausangate Cusco Peru
Ausangate (Awsanqati en quechua) es la quinta montaña más alta del Perú, su altitud máxima es de 6.372 msnm. Está situada a unos 100 kilómetros al sudeste de la ciudad del Cusco.
Se sitúa en la cordillera de los andes, en un tramo denominado cordillera de Vilcanota, correspondiente a la región Cusco en el Perú. Su principal cima está a 6,372 metros sobre el nivel del mar con lagunas grandes con un color verde/azul luminoso.
En la mitología inca de esta montaña y de los lagos cercanos - entre los que destaca Sibinacocha - nace la energía masculina que fertiliza a la madre tierra Pachamama; luego de un largo discurrir, las aguas se pierden en las tierras ignotas del Amazonas para retornar, a llenar los lagos y los glaciares cada noche convertida en el río de estrellas o Willkamayu conocida en occidente como la Vía Láctea. La Comunidad de Chillca constituida por pastores de llamas y alpacas es conocida como la guardiana de estos pristinos parajes, desde donde se puede hacer caminatas de montaña pasando la noche en cómodos albergues o tambos, entre los que destacan Machuracay Tambo, en un trekking denominado Camino del Apu Ausangate.
Cada año al lado norte del Ausangate se celebra desde tiempo inmemoriales la fiesta de Qoyllur Rit'i (quechua: nieve de estrella) antes de la fiesta del Corpus Christi, durante la cual miles de quechuas peregrinan al Señor de Quyllur Rit'i en el templo de Sinakara (pintura realizada sobre una roca). Este peregrinaje fue incluido dentro de la Lista Representativa del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad.
LA CAMINATA POR LAS MONTAÑAS
La caminata por la montaña del Ausangate es considerada turismo de aventura. El camino presenta formaciones rocosas a una altura de más de 5 mil metros cubiertas por lenguas de hielo.

Ausangate is located about 100 kilometers southeast of the Inca city of Cusco, in the district of Ocongate, province of Quispicanchi.
This mountain is part of the Vilcanota mountain range with a height of 6,384 meters above sea level. And this is considered as one of the most important Apus (Gods) for the surrounding people.
It was in 1953 an expedition led by a group of Germans managing to climb to the top for the first time, later in 1983 there were mountaineers of peruvian nationality that also got to the summit of this mountain.

The Rainbow Mountain of Peru, otherwise called Vinicunca, are staggering and can be seen on the dynamite Ausangate Trek. Ausangate mountain itself is viewed as a heavenly mountain (or mountain soul) by neighborhood Peruvians and is the god of Cusco. Since pre-Inca times the mountain has been a position of love and offerings and this custom proceeds with today.
Most outings that permit you to see the Rainbow Mountains require a trek of no less than 6 days. That has changed with this fresh out of the plastic new schedule. We have outlined this climb so it should be possible as a day trip!
On this trek you will see curious towns, wonderful adobe style houses, groups of llamas and alpacas and you will have glorious perspectives of the Ausangate Glacier (6,385 m/20,945 ft), the most elevated mountain in the Cusco district.

Dzisiaj poznacie Hernana i jego rodzinę. Jest to rodzina quechua, mieszkająca na powyżej 4000m n.p.m. Nocowaliśmy u Hernana jedną noc, będąc przez cały czas z jego rodziną.
