Hi guys,

Mark and I went to Australia Zoo for Good Friday, and it was definitely a closer destination than when I used to live more south!

Unfortunately there were no Meerkats, so Mark was a little upset on that, but we got to watch Crocodiles and tigers.

But it was a good day, and it didn't rain - but so exhausted by the time we got home.

When Steve Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter) died tragically in 2006, many people thought that the Irwin Family Business Empire was finished. However, as a result of a visit to the Irwin Family private Zoo Australia Zoo at Beerwah in Queensland, I am pleased to report that the Irwin Family Dynasty is alive and well and a new generation of Irwin's is set to make it big on the World stage and take over the Irwin business empire.

The Crocoseum is the fulfillment of one of Steve Irwin's lifelong dreams. Steve wanted to provide the visitors to Australia Zoo with the opportunity to see crocodiles in clear water ponds. This idea was to help educate the public by showing them how crocodiles live and behave in the wild.
