It doesnt rain much in the desert but when it does, the creeks flood and you can't get around. We had to wait about 6 hours for the water level to drop.

Farirbairn Dam has been flowing over since febuary I think LOL Definatley crazy wet weather & a very big change to what we had seen for a long time prior to 2008, currently around 2 Mts over the spillway but not threatining Emerald....however if we get more in the catchment she'll be on which is not good !!!
