Entirely shot with the DJI Spark during the Australia Day weekend of 26-27 January 2018. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5.

Avalon Beach is less than one hour drive north of Sydney.
Rock Info:
The sedimentary rocks featured in this clip is the Early Triassic Newport Formation. The large inclined strata are ~250 million year fluvial point bar accretion deposits. The swimmers at the rock pool are swimming inside an ancient river channel about 10 metres deep! These are one of the best preserved and exposed point bar deposits in the world and are readily accessible along the wave-cut platform just south of Avalon Beach.

A crowd favourite and extremely popular win which kept people smiling through the freak storm that popped up during the festival.

The Northern Beaches of Sydney caught some big swell this weekend and North Avalon was holding up really well.
The Footage was a little soft as I was using a Sony 55-210 zoom completely maxed out and as you can see, I was VERY far away.
