Sunday 9th august, hit avalon at 9am with roger. 3 hours after slack and geoff. lovely swell. many 7-8 footers. saw slack rode one that lasted for 30 seconds. feeling lucky for a novice.
caught 5 biggies sitting down, but cant brag about them.
but this one is a 7 footer standing up, didnt last very long, but still not bad at all for a beginner.
