Krka Waterfalls & Diocletian's Palace. Split Croatia

Croatia is known for its beautiful ocean water and pebbly beaches. We will show you that there is more to this country by visiting Krka National Park and Diocletian's Palace in downtown split.

Krka National Park is situated along the Krka River in southern Croatia. It has a series of 7 beautiful waterfalls. Its about a 45 minute drive from the city of Split. Well worth the drive

Diocletian's Palace is a building in the center of Split which was built for the Emperor Diocletian at the turn of the fourth century AD. It is one of the most imposing Roman ruins and the main attraction of the city of Split.

Come along as we take you on our adventure to the two beautiful sites.

ABOUT DUNKING DEVILS SQUAD VLOG 2:
In this episode of the Dunking Devils Squad series, we headed to Galebove stijene (Seagull’s Rocks), a rocky beach near Pula, Croatia. Famous for its high cliffs (16m/52ft), this location seemed like the perfect choice to do some crazy cliff jumping and feed our adrenaline addiction. Eager to escape the summer heat and dive into the blue waters of the Adriatic Sea, we packed our FPV racing drone and headed towards the seaside. To make our cliff jumping even more perfect, we invited our friends from Dunking Devils to join us on the last day for some summer fun!

Join us on our cliff jumping adventure to find out where to go for the perfect cliffs, who experienced the most pain and witness our drone-rescuing mission.

My name is Pedro Mota and back in 2014 I left the Netherlands on a beautiful Honda Transalp XL600v motorcycle on a trip to the east end of Russia in Vladivostok. On the way there I would take a big detour through the Middle East, Central Asia and Mongolia. Little did I know back then that this would evolve into a motorcycle ride around the world! This riding compilation is part 1 of the motorbike adventure ride around the world which started in Europe where I ride from the Netherlands to Croatia. Amsterdam to the Plitvice lake waterfalls! Travel the world on motorcycle and you will find out small it actually is.

The ride starts in the Netherlands and progresses through Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia. A Europe motorcycle tour! Starting out in Amsterdam and going through cities like Strasbourg, Lucerne, Trento, Venice, and Rijeka. Through beautiful regions like the German Eifel, Swiss Alps, Italian Alps, Slovenian Alps and Plitvice. So far my favorite part on this motorcycle trip around the world was riding through the Alps covered in snow. I had never in my life been to mountains covered in snow yet.

A few years before I did a return trip to Istanbul on the same motorbike but this time we just kept on riding east and actually doing some off-road riding. Also during my previous travels I have done a lot riding on lighter bikes in Asia. Europe is a beautiful continent and rich in nature, architecture history and culture. Great continent for motorcycle touring.

In the next riding compilation we'll continue the ride around the world in the Balkans through Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece and Turkey. Thanks for watching!

Croatia is known for its beautiful sea water and pebbly beaches. But there is so much more to this country. The history of this country dates back to the Roman's and has some of the best preserved ruins. Dubrovnik and its amazing old town, Split with Diocletian's Palace, and Klis Fortress are just to name a few. Then the beauty of it's national parks are second to none. Plitvice Lake National Park and Krka National Park are places you have to see. Not too many places in the world can blow you away like Croatia.

In this video we give you 9 ideas to help you plan your trip to Croatia. This is by no means is a complete list of what to see in Croatia as there are many things you could choose to see and do.

HIKING IN CROATIA - Discovering the Dinaric Alps

Already 7 countries and almost 6,000 km for our thru-hike across Europe! Entering Croatia, we discovered the Dinaric Alps that we will follow for a while in the Balkans, we had the great chance to cross 3 out of the 8 national parks of the country: Risnjak, Velebit and Paklenica. We will have to come back for the 5 others :D
We followed part of the trails of the Via Dinarica and the Via Adriatica that led us to discover amazing places like Bijele and Samarska Stijene, the Premužić Trail, the canyon Mala Paklenica and, to finish on a high note, we climbed the highest peak of Croatia, the Sinjal.

Rafting: Join the jolly team of river rafters and discover the Cetina River -- the original pirate's nest. The Cetina, which runs from the hinterland through the mountains and into the coastal town of Omis, housed the Med's most famous band of pirates. Today the Cetina is home to some medium-grade white water rafting. For hundreds of years they thrived on holding laden merchant ships for ransom passing up the coast on their way to Venice.
 
Buggy Safari: A real tour with a difference! Jump in a 2-seater, 200cc buggy and drive around the vineyards, coves and beaches of Korcula to explore parts of the island most visitors never get to see. Stop-off for snorkelling and at excellent photo-op spots.

Discovery Dive: If you want to have your first scuba diving experience then this Discovery Dive is for you -- we take care of everything. After a quick talk with the instructor & watching a short video, to ensures the main principles are understood, it's time to enter the shallow water on the nearby beach. Each instructor takes maximum two people and looks after them for the entire dive, which takes between 20 to 30 minutes. Once back on the surface, you will be transferred back to Makarska.
 
Wreck Diving: This dive is for certified divers only and is very rewarding. Dive over the torpedo boat, which lies at 26m, and see its well-preserved metal construction including anti-aircraft guns and torpedoes still in their tubes. It is a haven for marine life - a man-made reef with sponges, algae and fish.
 
Mostar & Bosnia Day Trip: Mostar is a city of contrasts: wide avenues, narrow streets, the traditional Turkish bazaar and Parisian-style boulevards - a city in which the culture and art of the east and west meet. The most magnificent monument is the Stari Most (Old Bridge), built in 1566 according to the plans of Hayruddin, the master Turkish architect and builder. When the Stari Most collapsed after sustained tank shelling in 1993 it was like the heart was ripped out of most Mostar natives. Now, more than a decade later, the beautiful stone structure that had spanned the Neretva River for over four centuries once again arches across its enchanting waters.

The Quest For The Croatian Dolmen (Potraga za hrvatskim dolmenom)

A dolmen is a type of single-chamber megalithic tomb, usually consisting of two or more vertical megaliths supporting a large flat horizontal capstone or table.
Most date from the early Neolithic (4000–3000 BCE). It remains unclear when, why and by whom the earliest dolmens were made.
No dolmen were found in Croatia. By this year?
