Exploring Japan: Adventures on Awaji Island.
Greetings and salutations!
My friend Roger, whom you may remember from that video that I crossed a huge bridge and nearly had a heart attack, invited me out to Awaji Island, an island with one of the largest gardens in Japan. But what really sold me was that we would be biking there and enjoying some fun in the sun at the beach. About Yukendoit.
Welcome! What you are looking at is a former Universal Studios, Halloween Horror Night, Walt Disney World actor/worker youtuber here. I really want to show the world to you! I was pretty inspired by Adamthewoo to get out and start making videos, and now I've left America to do just that. Now I'm out in Osaka, Japan. Living daily life in Japan. But I make adventure videos of exploring strange Japanese locations, theme parks like Universal Studios Japan, and generally showing off life as an American Abroad Jvlogging in Japan. As well I like to make Jvlogs about life in Japan. As I am a former scareactor at Halloween Horror Nights in Florida, I am very interested in the strange side of Japanese culture. Ghosts, Yokai, the Japanese equivlent of Oujia boards, abandoned Japanese buildings, and Japanese haunted houses like the one at Fuji Q Highland it's the longest one in the world!
Why the name Yukendoit? Well I think that you can do it! I'm currently teaching English in Japan and I love it. Patreon patreon.com/yukendoit
World’s largest Naruto and Boruto Theme Park in Japan
Japan Naruto Theme Park and Boruto Theme Park located in Nijigen no Mori Awajishima. This is first look at currently the World's largest Naruto amusement park and Boruto amusement park located in Shinobi Zato also known as ninja village area of the National Park of Awajishima. The ninja village hosts 2 main mission areas guided by maki-mono (scrolls) chi-no-maki (earth scroll) and ten-no-maki (heaven scroll). This anime theme park will take you on a puzzle solving adventures. This is perfect play ground for all Naruto manga and anime lovers alike.
Also, this anime theme park has recreated an outdoor version of Naruto's favorite ramen shop, Ichiraku ramen shop where you can get Hakata style ramen. Ramen ichiraku's Naruto Ramen was quite delicious and would love to have another bowl at anytime. The shop also serves Naruto themed food.
Nijigen no mori where the Naruto theme park is located, is originally a giant national park so it’s actually a perfect spot to just hang out, relax and have a picnic.
In fact, Naruto theme park video is the first part of a 2 part series for the Awajishima area so if you are deciding to visit this area, then definitely stick around for the 2nd part of this video series.

JAPAN TRIP 2019 // HYOGO'S AWAJI ISLAND 淡路島!
A two-hour drive and a missed exit later we finally arrived at Awaji island! This island that connects Kobe with Shikoku is sometimes said to be Hokkaido of Western Japan. There are flowers everywhere, lots of farms and great food! During our little trip, we first enjoyed the beautiful flower fields at Hanasajiki before going for something really exciting!! If you're curious what we were up to, definitely take a look!!

Nijigen no Mori Park in Awaji-shima, Japan - Anime Park, Shin Chan park, FUN and adventure by Wowfun
#Nijigen no Mori Park in Awaji-shima
If you happen to be a manga and anime lover who also loves being outdoor, then Nijigen no Mori is definitely the place to spend your day. Even I, who only know the tip of the manga and anime iceberg, had an enjoyable time exploring this park. It is situated in Hyogo's Prefectural Awajishima Park in the northern hills of Awaji Island. The name in English means two-dimensional forest, but Nijigen no Mori definitely has much more to offer than simply picnicking in its vast park or hiking the forest.
Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park
During the day, take a stroll along the trail of trees, hydrangea and wisteria flowers. Don’t forget to take pictures with Shin-chan in all of his silly signature poses; from squatting in a sheep costume to holding his pee while showing his bare butt. It sure was a walk down memory lane for me as I used to watch Crayon Shin-chan every Sunday morning. For the adrenaline junkies, the park also features 7m high obstacle courses and a pair of 210m and 130m long ziplines across the pond. Be ready to get wet if you decide to go on the zipline as other visitors can spray you with giant water guns near the finish line.

Hyogo Prefecture: Awajishima Park – Nijigen No Mori
Link to my blog:
One of the recommended experiences in and around Awaji Island is the Nijigen No Mori (Awaji Island Anime Park).
This park immerses you into the world of iconic Japanese anime - Naruto. Adults may find the place as a children's park, but for anime and manga fans, this is a place to be.
The park offers fun and interactive ninja missions with a reward once accomplished.

Abandoned Places Japan The World Peace Giant Kannon Statue, Awaji Island | Japan Vlog 74 | Lin Nyunt
ABANDONED PLACES JAPAN: EXPLORING THE WORLD PEACE GIANT KANNON STATUE AWAJI ISLAND
I went on my first abandoned exploration through the ruins of an abandoned temple site on Awaji Island. I don't do urban exploration videos on my channel but I've wanted to visit the Heiwakannon-ji site for two years.
This is the 4th tallest statue in Japan and the 13th tallest in the world at 80 metres in height. It's seriously quite the sight. Even if it's possibly haunted.
I read a couple of really informative blogs about this strange place and they're available here:

Awaji Monkey Center 淡路島モンキーセンター Sumoto Awajishima Japan - Full Walkthrough and Directions
Awajishima Monkey Center Sumoto, Japan
淡路島モンキーセンター
Year of the Monkey Fest 2016 Stop 1 of 3
2. Arashiyama Monkey Park coming soon
3. Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park coming soon
This is by far the least touristy of the 3 major monkey parks, due to it being the hardest to get to. I didn't see any other foreigners the whole time in Sumoto or at monkey park. It is the shortest walk to the monkeys, only a 4 minute stroll up a hill. The ladies who run the monkey park were very friendly. Was amazing to see monkeys up close for the first time, so many of them wandering around right through the crowd without a care. Lots of babies were around at the time, and some deer were also in the area.
It's a good idea to take an early bus from Sannomiya to Sumoto Bus Center. Explore the area, have a good meal then jump on the Sumoto community bus. There were lots of great little authentic shops and restaurants near the bus center. The area is pretty devoid of foreigners, so it was the one place I got stared at a little.
Apologies for the walkthrough toward the end having a little video stutter, forgot to change out to my high speed microsd.
Getting there:
Get to Sannomiya station Kobe
Sannomiya Bus Terminal Mint Building
(Just outside south side of Sannomiya Station)
Take an Awaji Kotsu bus for Sumoto Bus Center. ~2 per hour Will take you across Akashi Kaikyo, the world's longest span bridge!
Sumoto Bus Center
Station:
The Bus:
Sumoto Community Bus (Upper Line)
Route
Times
You pretty much have to take the 12:10 departure, and catch the return bus at 15:37, which gives you about 3 hours of time there.
Stop 11 is Monkey Park.
Special thanks Stephen Wheeler for Sumoto Community Bus info.

JAPAN FOOD - Awaji Island 淡路島
We continue our travel to Akashi and Awaji Island in search for local tastes. After visiting the fish market in Akashi (please see the previous movie), we took a catamaran speed boat to Awaji. This island is well known for high quality fruits and vegetables (Awaji onions are juicy and sweet), and of course local seafood. We tried local delicacies at Iwaya Port izakaya and happily report to you our impressions :)

Places to visit in Japan - Awajishima 淡路島
Awaji Island (淡路島 Awajishima in Japanese) is a not-terribly-large island - about the same size as Singapore - that marks the eastern boundary of the Seto Inland Sea of Japan. Thanks to a set of new bridges and a cross-island expressway, most visitors just zip through on their way from Honshu to Shikoku.
to see
-To see the Naruto whirlpools, stop at the expressway rest area at the southernmost tip of the island near the Onaruto bridge. If you have money to spare, you can take a little boat cruise to see them up close; note that whirlpools only appear when the tide is coming in or out.
- Aside from whirlpools and burial mounds and onions, Awajishima's main claim to fame are its beaches, especially on the more sparsely settled northern coast. They're nothing spectacular by international standards, but a popular nearby summer getaway for Kansai-ites just the same, and Awajishima has many campgrounds that cater to the budget traveller.
-There are also a number of hot springs (onsen), the best known of which are Awaji's largest town Sumoto and the mildly radioactive(!) waters of Iwaya adjacent to the northern bridge.
-The Sumoto Castle [5] requires quite a hike but is a small beautiful castle at the top of a hill and can be seen from all over Sumoto. The view from the top is extraordinary.
-There are two buildings designed by famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando on Awaji Shima: Water Temple [6] and Yume no Butai.
- A section of the Nojima Fault, responsible for the 1995 Great Hanshin earthquake, preserved at Nojima Fault Preservation Museum.
- The Kiseki no Hoshi Botanical Museum [7]is a beautiful stop on the bus line. There are numerous exhibits indoor and out. It is connected to the Westin Hotel.
-Scattered here and there are a number of herb and biwa (loquat) farms. The southern coast, however, is essentially one long semi-urban sprawl filled with the (stink/scent) of ripening onions; the only breaks in the monotony are a fairly hideous (but huge) concrete statue of the Buddhist deity Kannon and the inevitable Onokoro Amusement Park.
