The clip starts off at Yulara airport with Professional Helicopter Services VH-PHL, a Bell 206-L, LongRanger. The clip then shows taking off over Yulara airport, and then over the town of Yulara, and then out onto Ayers Rock/Uluru. Part 2 will continue from Ayers Rock to The Olga's ( Kata Tjuta ).
The Rock itself is the worlds largest monolith, and is 348 m high ( 1141 ft ), 3.6 km long ( 2.25 miles ), 2.4 km wide (1.5 miles ), and 8 km in circumference ( 4.96 miles ).
The word Uluru means meeting place.
Theres also a guest appearance by my microphone fluff, and my hairy white legs.

This Jetranger helicopter was a charter from Professional Helicopter Services. Our pilot David was both safe and professional. Cruise speed was 80-90 knots and we reached a maximum altitude of 3500 feet.
