Paston Dig & Sow - Introduction
An introduction to the 'Dig and Sow' day at Paston on the 19th May 2012. Archaeological test pits were dug throughout the village. This video takes us to the starter meeting in the village church, then to test pits 7 and 8, and finally back to the concluding session in the church. The video was made by Paul Damen, in whose garden thesse two test pits were dug.

Biddenden Parish Church 29/5/16. Bellringing Bristol S Major, flower festival
A superb recording of various excerpt of the splendid old octave housed in the tower of the Parish Church at Biddenden, being rung to a quarter peal of Bristol Surprise Major at the close of the annual village flower festival, and preceding the village Songs of Praise service, celebrating the festival.
This recording from the churchyard was very kindly made in this very professional manner, and provided by one of the local Biddenden ringers, Corinne Orde, at the request of the Conductor of this quarter peal who is also the Ringing Master here.
The ringers stood in the following order:
Treble: Brian PU Lawrence
2: Karen Lebon
3: John Manley
4: J Roderick N. Lebon
5: Benjamin D. Kipling
6: Roderic K Bickerton

Church bell tolls to remember Aylsham's war dead
Michael Brooks, 22, tolls the church bell at Aylsham to mark the start of a marathon memorial to the town’s war dead.
It chimed 100 times for 23-year-old Harrold Brawn, a sergeant with the first battalion Norfolk Regiment, who was killed in action on September 14 1914.

Ascending Cromer Parish Church Tower, June 2014
This video documents a visit to Cromer Parish Church on 28th June 2014 when I ascended the steps of the church tower to the rooftop. Cromer Church is the tallest church in the whole of Norfolk, and this was the second occasion I'd ever visited Cromer and happened to notice the tower was open to visitors. Do excuse my puffing and panting as I went up the steps - terribly unfit! In this video you will see a brief look at the exterior of the church, before I ascend the steps and then look at the extensive views from the top of the tower from ALL angles!
Filmed on my Sony Cybershot DSC-H55 digital camera on 28th June 2014.
[Wikipedia] Tuttington
Tuttington is a village is located in the civil parish of Burgh and Tuttington , in the English county of Norfolk. The village is 11.1 miles south of Cromer, 15 miles north of Norwich and 129 miles north-east of London. The village lies 3 miles east of the nearby town of Aylsham. The nearest railway station is at North Walsham for the Bittern Line which runs between Sheringham, Cromer and Norwich. The nearest airport is Norwich International Airport.
Its church, St Peter and St Paul, is one of 124 existing round-tower churches in Norfolk.
Opposite the church, there is a Dutch gabled building that used to be the village shop and post office, which closed in May 1987. Next door to that there used to be a pub called The Ship. It has been said that as the village is several miles from the sea or any navigable waterways, this name could be a corruption of The Sheep as the pub may have been a welcome watering hole for drovers.
