Pietro is the manager of Azienda Agricola Roccasanta​, a winery located in Perletto​ (Cuneo) - Italy. aziendagricolaroccasanta.it
The winery born in 2006 after a long preparatory work started in the '90 and counted since the beginning on the support of professionals in the field of wine production. This is how they describe their production: We cultivate our vines in an environmentally responsible way, without using toxic or harmful products. Viticulture is essential in wine production: to obtain a high quality product we must carefully look after our vines. Special attention is therefore given to careful pruning of the vines, and thinning out of bunches, as a smaller number of bunches per vine assures a better grape quality. Our wine is made in the traditional way with the support of the most up-to-date technologies. Some wines having the right characteristics, are aged in barrique: through a process of micro-oxygenation, the natural tannins polymerize, giving the wine a mellow and pleasing flavour.
During the exploration of sustainable realities in the surroundings of Cortemilia we discovered also Petrini Silvia's dairy farm, where she rises goats and sheep and produce DOP (protected designation of origin) cheese.
Also we discovered how Roberto Fiolis grow around 10 hectares of hazel trees, harvest and dry that specific high quality variety of hazelnut called Tonda Gentile delle Langhe (Gentle Round Hazelnut of the Langhe), the pride of the local area.

This video has been created by the participants of the youth exchange Youth Promoting Sustainability, organized by Associazione Vagamondo​ in Cortemilia - Cuneo (Italy) from 17th till 27th August 2017 thanks to an Erasmus Plus co-funding.
Before the realization of the videos the participants of the project have been involved in video making workshops organized by the director Agnese Correra.
