Yinka Dene Alliance Freedom Train - Saskatoon May 3, 2012
The Yinka Dene Alliance are traveling to Ottawa to bring to the Government of Canada their objections to proposals to build pipelines across First Nations lands which would transport oil from Alberta to the coast of British Columbia to be loaded onto tankers for export. The proposed pipelines would endanger water sources and wildlife habitat encountered along the way, all for the profit of large corporations. The people of Saskatoon joined First Nations from the Treaty Six territory to show their solidarity with the Alliance as they travelled through Saskatoon today, May 3, 2012 .

Aurora Borealis - A trip to Yellowknife - September 2013
A collection of time-lapse long exposure sequences, captured with a EOS-550D, Tonkin 11-17mm lens, Tamron 8mm Fish-eye and Tamron 18-270mm. Oh, and a tripod, lots of GOT episodes, coffee and late-night cup-o-soups.
Solar activity was forecast low the whole time we were there, but there were still a few amazing displays.
Thanks to Findlay for loaning us the lenses. Appreciate it!
