Located about a 10 minute drive from the busy area of Miami beach, the Courtyard Cadillac Miami Beach hotel is ideal for families. It is on the quiet side of the strip but still close enough by cab or car to the shops and restaurants on Lincoln Road.
We stayed at the renovated tower. The room was big enough for our family of 5 with the two queen beds. A small balcony overlooked one of the pools and a distant view of the ocean. An Italian restaurant on property provided a convenient option for light snacks and child friendly dinners.
Flavored water was always in the lobby along with a big glass container of lollipops for the kids. Internet was included however it was a little slow. There is an option to pay for faster connection. There is also a laundry area , however they only have one washer and one dryer so wait times are not ideal.
The best feature of this hotel is the close proximity to the beach. There is a short path from the main pool area thru a locked gate and a few steps to the boardwalk. The wide expanse of Florida sand and surf is right at your fingertips. With little ones it is very convenient to be able to run back to the hotel or maybe take a break at the 2 pools, one of which was for adults only.
This hotel is a solid choice for families.
