Front entrance to Broadcasting House Bristol - BBC
The BBC campus, Broadcasting House Bristol, is located on Whiteladies Road, Bristol at 51.461°N 2.608°W. The first building to be occupied was 21/23 Whiteladies Road, which was built in 1852 and is a Grade II listed building,[1] with four radio studios. It was formally opened by the Lord Mayor of Bristol on 18 September 1934.[2] The BBC has been on the same site ever since.
Main site:
Since first opening Broadcasting House has grown to incorporate 25,[3] 27/29,[4] 31/33,[5](all also Grade II listed) and 33A&B Whiteladies Road, as well as nos 1, 3, 5, 7/9, 11/13, 15/17 and 19 Tyndall's Park Road. It now provides offices and technical facilities for the BBC Natural History Unit, Bristol factual, network radio, BBC West and BBC Radio Bristol.[2]
Network radio studios, a network television studio (Studio B -Green Screen Virtual Studio), a regional television studio (Studio A), local radio studios, a combined television and radio newsroom, and an outside broadcast base have all been built on the site.
In 1986 33A&B Whiteladies Road were demolished to make way for a new development providing post-production facilities, a restaurant, library and headquarters offices for the South and West Region, as well as a new reception for Broadcasting House. The new building was opened by Chris Patten on 19 January 1990.
Other Bristol facilities:
At the time of World War II the BBC also had radio facilities at Redland Park Hall, All Saints Hall, the Chapter House, College Road, Clifton Parish Hall, the Cooperative Hall and the Clifton Rocks Railway.
In more recent times 15 Whiteladies Road, St Mary's Church in Belgrave Road, and Christchurch Hall[6] have also provided accommodation and facilities. A radio control room was built in St George's Church, Brandon Hill.
The BBC leased warehouses on the Kingsland Trading Estate since 1986, and also on the Lawrence Hill Industrial Park since 2002, to provide facilities and servicing for Casualty (TV series) when it was produced in Bristol. However, the production has now moved to Cardiff.
United States:
The United States of America (USA), commonly known as the United States (U.S.) or America (/əˈmɛrɪkə/), is a federal republic[16][17] composed of 50 states, a federal district, five major self-governing territories, and various possessions.[fn 6] Forty-eight states and the federal district are contiguous and located in North America between Canada and Mexico. The state of Alaska is in the northwest corner of North America, bordered by Canada to the east and across the Bering Strait from Russia to the west. The state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific Ocean. The U.S. territories are scattered about the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, stretching across nine official time zones. The extremely diverse geography, climate and wildlife of the United States make it one of the world's 17 megadiverse countries.[19]
At 3.8 million square miles (9.8 million km2)[20] and with over 324 million people, the United States is the world's third- or fourth-largest country by total area,[fn 7] and the third-most populous. The capital is Washington, D.C., and the largest city is New York City; twelve other major metropolitan areas—each with at least 4.5 million inhabitants—are Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Riverside.

Homeless in Bristol
You wanna know what it's like to be homeless? It's lonely, cold and hopeless.
Film maker Dave Young created this video to show how much of an issue homelessness is across the UK. It was aired in full on BBC Newsnight on Tuesday 29th March 2016, but we've taken the sections of the story told by the homeless people of Bristol. Carl and Michael tell their story. Michael walks half an hour to the nearest toilet.

Bristol PSC Protest Against The BBC
On 16th August 2010 the BBC Panorama broadcast Death in the Med made by an Israeli producer and with the help of the Israeli army. This propaganda was then passed off by the BBC as an impartial investigation. The victims were relabelled as terrorists. In protest we held a Die in outside the BBC studios in Bristol, in memory of the nine courageous men who gave their lives for Palestine on the Mavi Marmara.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry visit Bristol | 5 News

► Meghan Markle and Prince Harry - the Duchess and Duke of Sussex - were met by hordes of people on a visit to Bristol.
Harry and Meghan did have to switch from their plane to the train because of the snow, and one woman in particular was very glad that they made the effort.
They visited Empire Fighting Chance, which supports children who are failing at school and in danger of drifting into a life of unemployment.
The expected parents also dropped in to One25, a charity that reaches out to women trapped in street sex work. The Duchess packed food parcels for the women, which included inspirational messages written on bananas.
Before that, the couple attended a performance of 'Hercules' at Bristol Old Vic.
