BC Ferries, Canada バンクーバー島 ・カナダ
British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. or BC Ferries is a de facto Crown Corporation that provides all major passenger and vehicle ferry services for coastal and island communities in the Canadian province of British Columbia.
Route -- Georgia Strait South: Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen.
Vancouver Island is a large island in British Columbia, Canada. It is one of several North American locations named after George Vancouver, the British Royal Navy officer who explored the Pacific Northwest coast of North America between 1791 and 1794. While the city of Vancouver is located on the North American mainland, Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, is located on the island. Along with the minor islands to its immediate south, it is the only part of British Columbia that is south of the 49th Parallel.
Swartz Bay-Tsawwassen, CANADA バンクーバー島
The main B.C. Ferry terminal for Victoria and southern Vancouver Island, Swartz Bay is the province's second largest and busiest ferry terminal after Tsawwassen.
From Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, you'll board a BC Ferry for a scenic, 90-minute sailing across the Straight of Georgia and past the Gulf Islands.
BC Ferry Trip from Tsawwassen to Nanaimo
In this video, I take you along as I cross from Vancouver to Vancouver Island aboard the BC Ferry. Coastal Renaissance -
Overall Length: 160 metres (525')
Maximum Displacement: 10,034 tonnes
Car Capacity: 310*
Passenger & Crew Capacity: 1,604
Maximum Speed: 23 knots
Horsepower: 21,444
We depart the Tsawwassen ferry terminal headed for Duke Point in Nanaimo. A roughly 2-hour sailing.
I give an overview of the Tsawwassen terminal, some footage on the boat and the views along the way, plus docking at Duke Point Terminal. You'll see several of the different size ferries in the fleet, and here the horns blow!
It was a foggy start but the skies cleared about halfway along making for a kind of eery then beautifully bright sunny sailing.

Victoria to Vancouver | BC Ferries Coastal Celebration | Swartz Bay-Tsawwassen
Hello, and welcome to the beginning of a new trip report series. As part of a project at school, I was offered the chance to make a video on how to get from Downtown Victoria, to Downtown Vancouver. I had the idea then to turn it into a sort of trip report style of video. I am very pleased with how this turned out, and I will be continuing make these ferry trip reports for the foreseeable future.
Thanks for watching!

BC Ferries Tsawwassen - Swartz Bay (Queen of Vancouver)
Sometimes I'll post a rare gem on Youtube for those who care to seek them, this is a special one indeed. This was taken from the family home movie archives. It's not as good as the Queen of Saanich recording, but I decided to upload it anyway. Filmed on an unknown date in March, 2005 onboard the Queen of Vancouver - which was retired on March 30th, 2009.

Surrey, BC to Tsawwassen BC Ferries port terminal morning joyride
We're heading to Victoria, the provincial capital of British Columbia from Surrey, BC via the BC Ferries Tsawwassen port terminal in Tsawwassen to board the ferry to Swartz Bay port terminal in Vancouver Island and drive from there to Victoria. It's a nice beautiful Sunday morning, the streets are deserted and driving is a breeze.

BC Ferries Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen (Spirit of British Columbia)
A ride on one of the most picturesque ferry rides in the world. This is onboard the Spirit of British Columbia, one of two vessels built in the early 1990's to provide additional capacity on BC Ferries' busiest route between Vancouver and Victoria, in British Columbia, Canada.
We walk around the entire vessel and see the stunning scenery from both inside and outside. Other vessels seen are the Skeena Queen, Queen of Cumberland, Queen of New Westminster, Mayne Queen, Spirit of Vancouver Island, Coastal Celebration, Queen of Alberni and Queen of Nanaimo.
BC Ferry Sailing aboard the Coastal Inspiration (Duke Pt to Tsawwassen)
In this video, I give you views from aboard the Coastal Inspiration ferry as it sails from Duke Point Terminal south of Nanaimo BC on Vancouver Island over to Tsawwassen on the BC mainland.
You'll see footage of both terminals and the Nanaimo waterfront. Along the voyage, I also shoot video clips of Entrance Island Lighthouse, various boats/ships, and another Coastal Class BC ferry the Coastal Celebration as it leaves Tsawwassen bound for Swartz Bay north of Victoria, BC on Vancouver Island.

Arriving at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal
Our weekend trip to Victoria BC on Canada Day! It was a nice fun trip. It was cold and rained a little but it was worth it. We went to the mall, eat, meet our nieces, walked to the park and first time to see the mini animal sanctuary in Victoria. Really nice place to live. Hope we can move there someday. Happy Canada day!
