SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go to the beautiful city of Munich in Germany and let's visit The BMW Museum which is an automobile museum of BMW history located near the Olympiapark in Munich, Germany. The museum was established in 1973, shortly after the Summer Olympics opened. From 2004 to 2008, it was renovated in connection with the construction of the BMW Welt, directly opposite. The museum reopened on June 21, 2008.
Munich, Bavaria’s capital, is home to centuries-old buildings and numerous museums. The city is known for its annual Oktoberfest celebration and its beer halls, including the famed Hofbräuhaus, founded in 1589. In the Altstadt (Old Town), central Marienplatz square contains landmarks such as Neo-Gothic Neues Rathaus (town hall), with a popular glockenspiel show that chimes and reenacts stories from the 16th century.
Germany is a Western European country with a landscape of forests, rivers, mountain ranges and North Sea beaches. It has over 2 millennia of history. Berlin, its capital, is home to art and nightlife scenes, the Brandenburg Gate and many sites relating to WWII. Munich is known for its Oktoberfest and beer halls, including the 16th-century Hofbräuhaus. Frankfurt, with its skyscrapers, houses the European Central Bank.
In this video we are going to concentrate on the legendary BMW motorcycles exhibited in the museum.

A visit the spectacular BMW World in Munich Germany. The museum houses BMW classic cars whilst the showroom adjacent to the museum houses all the latest BMW models and concept cars which will be launched in the near future.
The BMW M8 was the centre piece during this visit in 2018 as it was about to be launched in the market.

A tour of the BMW Museum, Munich, Germany by a car/bike illiterate visitor.
The building is amazing, the displays futuristic and its feels fantastic...but to this non-petrol head it was a bit disappointing.
If you are into cars , motorbikes and/or anything to do with BMW then this is a place to visit. If you like modern architecture and fancy displays, you will love it. In the end this aspect of the museum was more memorable to me.

BMW Welt (English -- BMW World), is a multi-functional customer experience and exhibition facility of the BMW AG, located in Munich, Germany. In direct proximity to the BMW Headquarters and the Olympiapark, it is designed to present the current products of BMW, be a distribution center for BMW cars, and offer an event forum and a conference center.
Designed by architects Coop Himmelb(l)au for BMW Group, the facility was constructed from August 2003 through summer 2007 at a cost of US$200 million. Originally conceived to be open and ready for World Cup 2006, it eventually opened on October 17, 2007, and deliveries commenced on October 23, 2007. The first customer to take European delivery of a new BMW at the Welt was Jonathan Spira. There were 2,200,000 visitors during the first 12 months of operation.
Designed with an 800 kW solar plant on its roof, the building does not have the boredom of a hall, it is not only a temple, but also a market place and a communication center and meeting place for knowledge transfer, said architect Prix at the opening ceremony
BMW Welt, Munich operates in co-operation with other BMW facilities in the local community, particularly the BMW Museum and BMW Headquarters.
BMW Welt focuses on strengthening the dialogue with customers and visitors by showing a wide range of BMW cars and motorcycles, and providing vehicle distribution, particularly the creation of a special experience with regards to customer collection of an ordered vehicle. BMW Welt also offers shops with BMW auxiliary products, as well as a fully serviced gastronomic restaurant. In the meeting forum, BMW Welt offers conference rooms and the opportunity to stage media events. The building often houses exhibitions related to new BMW models and, since 2012, other BMW Group brands such as Mini and Rolls-Royce
