Brookville Pennsylvania
A short clip from the edge of my hometown of Brookville PA. The air was a little rowdy so I didn't want to go lower. I will do this again on a nicer day!
Jefferson County, Pennsylvania
Jefferson County's most popular resident is the world's most famous weather forecaster, Punxsutawney Phil. Each February 2nd, Punxsutawney, the Weather Capital of the World is the place to be for the nation's Groundhog Day Celebration. At the Weather Discover Center, you can climb into the power of a tornado and interact with other hands-on exhibits.
In the center of the county is Brookville, with a charming restored Victorian Main Street. The town's historical district walking tour has 14 informative stops and the Jefferson County History Center has many interesting exhibits including a replica of the first ever four-wheel drive car, built by the Twyford Motor Company.
Jefferson County is also home to Blackbird Distillery, the only distillery in the country handcrafting on site from grain to bottle. Tour the BWP Bat Factory and see how baseball bats are made!
