Shaolin Tops Popular Chinese Word List Among Foreigners
Shaolin is the hottest Chinese word among global English speakers, according to a report.
Words related to traditional Chinese culture including Chunjie (meaning Spring Festival) and Chongyang, those related to political fields including Ming Yun Gong Tong Ti (meaning community with a shared future) and Yi Dai Yi Lu (meaning Belt and Road Initiative), as well as economic fields such as renminbi or RMB, yuan, yang hang (meaning central bank) and Alipay (one of China's four great new inventions in modern times), are on the list of top 100 popular Chinese entries among foreigners, which was released by the China International Publishing Group (CIPG) on Saturday.

Kedua lokasi ini menampilkan tema yang berbeda untuk pameran lampionnya. Di YunTai Garden, tema yang ditampilkan adalah The Silk Road 丝绸之路 atau dikenal dengan Jalur Sutra, sedangkan untuk tema di Wenhua Gongyuan adalah hari raya besar di China seperti Imlek 春节，Dragon Boat Festival / Hari Bakcang 端午节，Mid Autumn Festival / Kue Bulan中秋节 dll.

I went to China to ride the Dongchezu high-speed train.
I went from Japan to China on board the Northwest Airlines plane of United States for 5 days from July 11th.
After arriving at the hotel in Beijing, I went to the Beijing Station to buy tickets.
Because my Chinese is not good, I spent a lot of time there, but finally I managed to buy tickets.
On July 12th, I went from Beijing South Station to Tianjin to ride the CRH3 high-speed train.
Its first train sets were built in Germany by Siemens.
Its maximum speed is 350km/h (217 mph).
In Tianjin 天津, I went to the Zhou Enlai Deng Yingchao Memorial Hall 周恩来邓颖超纪念馆, Shui Shang Park 水上公园, Gu Wenhua Jie 古文化街 (Archaic Town) and Wanghailou Church 望海楼教堂.
On July 13th, I went from Beijing North Station to the Badaling Great Wall.
I rode the Hexie Great Wall Train 和谐长城号.
It took about 1 hour.
It went pass the site of the nearest section of the Great Wall from Beijing.
On July 14th, I went from Beijing North Station to Qinhuangdao 秦皇岛.
I saw the west end of the Great Wall in the sea.
I rode the CRH5 high-speed train.
It is based on Alstom's ETR600.
I took shots of Beijing, Tianjin, Badaling and Qinhuandao on July 12-14th, 2009.
I used Beijing-TIanjin Intercity Rail, S2 Line Beijing Suburban Railway and Jingha Railway.

我这次去了5日4夜的中国旅行。
在北京机场，由于H1N1的健康检查时间太长了。
检察員给全部的乘客量体温，然后我提出了一张报表。
然后，我搭乘了那天最后一班列车。
能到东直门站，但是地铁已经停止服务，所以我乘出租车到宾馆。
第一天我乘出租车去的北京南站，用自动售票机买票很容易。
我搭乘了CRH3的动车，非常满意。
那天的最高速度是330公里/小时左右。
我去了周恩来邓颖超纪念馆的外面。
因为人民币不够，所以我没进入。
第二天我吃完宾馆的自助餐之后，从北京站坐地铁到西直门站。
从西直门站走到北京北站。从西直门站到北京北站有几百米。
虽然北京北站很大，但是乘客们并不太多。
从候车厅看到火车，它的名称是和谐长城号。
在长城上走了不一会儿路就变得陡起来了。
在回程的列车里我睡觉了。
第三天走到了北京火车站。
我搭乘了去沈阳北的动车。它的名称是CRH5。
北京火车站非常大。
中国铁路的规模真是让我感到兴奋。
这次的列车的最高速度好像为200公里/小时似的。（真实时速超过200公里/小时）
动车组都很舒服。
从北京到秦皇岛有三百公里左右，不过只花两个小时左右。
我觉得这列列车太快了。
我坐出租车去了老龙头和角山长城。
风景好看极了。

A visual tour of some locations that I visited while in China: Shanghai, Fuzhou, Xiamen mainly. I visited for work and wasn't there as a tourist. This was my first time in China, so I got in some sightseeing where I could.
So, here is an attempt to make an interesting short video out of my personal B-roll.

Cinema of China
The Cinema of China is one of three distinct historical threads of Chinese-language cinema together with the Cinema of Hong Kong and the Cinema of Taiwan.
Cinema was introduced in China in 1896 and the first Chinese film, The Battle of Dingjunshan, was made in 1905, with the film industry being centered on Shanghai in the first decades. The first sound film, Sing-Song Girl Red Peony, using the sound-on-disc technology, was made in 1931. The 1930s, considered the first golden period of Chinese cinema, saw the advent of the Leftist cinematic movement and the dispute between Nationalists and Communists was reflected in the films produced. After the Japanese invasion of China and the occupation of Shanghai, the industry in the city was severely curtailed, with filmmakers moving to Hong Kong, Chongqing and other places, starting a Solitary Island period in Shanghai, referring to the city's foreign concessions, with the remaining filmmakers working there. Princess Iron Fan, the first Chinese animated feature film, was released at the end of this period. It influenced wartime Japanese animation and later Tezuka Osamu. After being completely engulfed by the occupation in 1941, and until the end of the war in 1945, the film industry in the city was under Japanese control.
