Outdoor Adventure UK YouTube Trailer
Hi there and welcome to my YouTube Channel. Always a keen photographer, buying a Go Pro Hero 3, took my love of capturing the moment to new levels much to the amusement of my friends and family. We love travel and being out and about being amongst it. Even the little things around us gain a magical quality when filmed. I now use two Go Pro Hero's (3 & 4) and sometimes mix in a little iPhone footage. I ended up buying a MacBook to edit the films and use Final Cut Pro X. I am a complete amateur at this, and love to get feedback on the videos, so please click Like and share the videos. I am learning as I go along, and I always happy to answer questions, or work stuff out together. I learnt all I know from other people on YouTube, and happy to steal ideas with pride.
We found a cave! Snowdonia's Secret Bivvy Spot
We had a couple of hours spare so we took the dogs up to visit the secret (well, secret-ish) bivvy cave underneath Cnicht (aka the Welsh Matterhorn).
The cave is actually a big pile of huge boulders, with smaller boulders filling in the gaps to make a hole big enough for one person to live in luxury or two people to sleep in cramped positions on lumpy rocks...
The grid reference for this cave is in the video - but it's actually clearly shown on the OS OL18 1:25,000 map.

Crossing over the Cairngorm Mountain's - Part 3 (Winter Solo Hiking & Camping Adventure)
I set out on a solo winter hiking and camping trip to try and cross from one side of the Cairngorm mountains to the other side while attempting to summit the second highest mountain in the UK, Ben Macdui. I will have no phone signal when I'm in the mountain so I will have to tread carefully and try my best to stay dry as when night falls the temperatures in the mountains fall to below zero and hypothermia is not my idea of fun! I'll start my wild camping adventure in Aviemore, heading through Rothiemurchus forest and to Glenmore where I will reach the edge of the mountain range. From there I hike up and into the heart of the mountains and find a rather unorthodox place to stay the night. Then I climb up and over the mountains to make my way down to the forest of Mar on the other side and out through the Mar estate to reach the end of my winter expedition in Braemar. #SubscribeToTheOutdoors

Digging/sleeping in a snow cave. Aviemore, Scotland
**TONS MORE VIDEOS ON MY CHANNEL - HAVE A LOOK**
Building a snow cave is something that sounds great in theory, but when the dark sets in and you're a few hours away from anyone, it gets a bit scary!
Here are the loose Google Maps coordinates of where we built our cave: 57.105490, -3.656580
It is an area recommended by locals. I asked a few different people as I travelled from Dinorwig in North Wales to Aviemore in Scotland and I was surprised how this spot was mentioned by all them.
I went in March. The conditions were great and the snow was deep and solid. Happy adventuring!

Sleeping in a Cave is NOT fun. Ingleton, Yorkshire, England
Spending a night underground in part of the UK's biggest caving system we start at Bull Pot of the Witches and snake through some tight squeezes to get to our sleeping cavern.
The aim was to spend a night underground and experience what that was like. The result was cold, wet and uncomfortable! But also great fun!
Do you know of any caves to visit - comment below!

Wild Camping With Full DD Hammock Gear In A Pine Forest. 17.02.2019
An over night wild camp in a pine forest with Rickalls Outdoors, we have been to the spot before but I pitched my DD Frontline hammock in a different area of the forest near the stream. The weather was fantastic and I kept warm with My DD underblanket, DD Frontline Hammock and my DD Jura 2 sleeping bag, we had a fire and it was a great evening. #Bushcraft #WildCamping #Overnighter #Hammock #DDHammock #DDJura2
