BADRAMA Wildlife Sanctuary
Situated in Sambalpur and Deogarh districts of Odisha, the Badrama sanctuary is around 364 km away from the state capital Bhubaneswar and only 37 km away from the Sambalpur district headquarter. The Badrama sanctuary stationed in the administrative jurisdiction of Bamra wildlife division is also known as Ushakoti sanctuary among the local people. Spreading over an area of 304 sq km, the sanctuary is home to a wide variety of wild animals such as Indian elephant, sloth bear, Leopard, Leopard cat, Gaur, Palm squirrel, barking deer, Spotted deer, Sambar Deer, Hyena, Pangolin etc.

Badrama Ghati on NH 6 (between Sambalpur and Deogarh)
Badrama ghati or ghat is lies on NH6 between Sambalpur and Deogarh in Odisha. It is also the gateway to the Usha kuthi Wildlife sanctuary which is at a distance of 42 KMs from Sambalpur city. There are two watch towers in side the sanctuary near pools where one can see wild animals drinking water or playing in the water. The Forest department also provide open vehicles with floodlight attached to see animals during night hours.
