Badgers Bristol 200 Bimble
An easy 200k (124 miles) route in Somerset UK from Kingbury Episcopi, through Wells, Radstock, Bath, Bristol and Cheddar with a Sweets Cafe stop. Lots of cycle routes which made the ride really enjoyable, even if slow due to having to slow for dog walkers etc... However, the first cold spell for the winter down to -1 degree C....ouch, but 'turned out nice'. However, I must stop saying 'Epic'.
Anyhow, this is my first video. Planning to do more on rides, bikes, kit and dabble with cycling dynamics and fuelling.
I've been cycling for 3 years, got some good bikes, had lots of kit and am a winter rider. Done plenty of organised rides but dabbling into long distance riding and set ready for some bike packing. Lets see where it goes.

On May 1st 2013, our Lush 'Badgers' performed in a flashmob outside of the Defra (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) in Central London in protest against the proposed cull of British Badgers. The track accompanying them was composed by fellow badger lover, Brian May of Queen. An update on the badger cull here:

Avon Gorge Bristol UK
The Avon Gorge (grid reference ST560743) is a 1.5 mile (2.5 km) long gorge on the River Avon in Bristol, England. The gorge runs south to north through a limestone ridge 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west of Bristol city centre, and about 3 miles (5 km) from the mouth of the river at Avonmouth. The gorge forms the boundary between the unitary authorities of North Somerset and Bristol. In the past, when Bristol was an important port, the gorge formed a defensive gateway to the city.
On the east of the gorge is the Bristol suburb of Clifton, and The Downs, a large public park. To the west of the gorge is Leigh Woods, the name of both a village and the National Trust forest it is situated in. There are three Iron Age hill forts overlooking the gorge, as well as an observatory. The Clifton Suspension Bridge, an icon of Bristol, crosses the gorge.
The spectacular scenery of the Avon Gorge owes its remarkable features to the amazing forces of geology spanning over 300 Million years. The gorge is famous for the shear amount of Carboniferous rock exposed over such a small area. These limestones and sandstones are teaming with the record of ancient life and it was this rich diversity of life that made the Avon Gorge the site of the first major studies into Carboniferous fossils.
Not surprisingly, the 2.5km long gorge has been awarded the SSSI (a Site of Special Scientific Interest) title -- a reflection of the truly outstanding fossil flora and fauna, as well as rare modern day wildlife.

Places to see in ( Winchester - UK )
Winchester is a city in the county of Hampshire, on the edge of England's South Downs National Park. It’s known for medieval Winchester Cathedral, with its 17th-century Morley Library, the Winchester Bible and a Norman crypt. Nearby are the ruins of Wolvesey Castle and the Winchester City Mill, a working 18th-century corn mill. The Great Hall of Winchester Castle houses the medieval round table linked to King Arthur.
Winchester is a city and the county town of Hampshire, England. The city of Winchester lies at the heart of the wider City of Winchester, a local government district, and is located at the western end of the South Downs National Park, along the course of the River Itchen. Winchester is situated 61 miles (98 km) south-west of London and 13.6 miles (21.9 km) from Southampton, its closest city.
Winchester developed from the Roman town of Venta Belgarum, which in turn developed from an Iron Age oppidum. Winchester's major landmark is Winchester Cathedral, one of the largest cathedrals in Europe, with the distinction of having the longest nave and overall length of all Gothic cathedrals in Europe. The city is home to the University of Winchester and Winchester College, the oldest public school in the United Kingdom still to be using its original buildings.
Winchester is situated on a bed of cretaceous lower chalk with small areas of clayey and loamy soil, inset with combined clay and rich sources of Fuller's earth. Aside from the city centre, there are several suburbs and neighbourhoods within the city, including:
Hyde
Abbotts Barton
Fulflood
Weeke
Winnall
Highcliffe
Stanmore
Upper Stanmore
Lower Stanmore
Teg Down
Badger Farm
Oliver's Battery
St. Cross
Bar End
Harestock
Winchester is located near the M3 motorway and at the meeting of the A34, A31, A3090 and A272 roads. Once a major traffic bottleneck, the city still suffers from congestion at peak times. A Roman road originating in Salisbury called The Clarendon Way ends in Winchester. Winchester railway station is served by South West Trains trains from London Waterloo, Weymouth, Portsmouth and Southampton, as well as by CrossCountry between Bournemouth, and either Manchester or Newcastle via Birmingham.
