Eyesore or wonderful vantage point for viewing the Bagan Archaeological Zone? That was the question I wanted to answer about the Nan Myint Tower, or the Bagan Viewing Tower. I had a bit of a struggle finding my way there, which seems odd considering it was supposed to be an imposing tower dominating the landscape. But I did eventually find it, and I was able to make up my own mind about whether this tower was an ugly blot on the scenery or a stunning attraction or something in between.

BAGAN - ARCHAEOLOGICAL ZONE, Myanmar (Burma)
With hundreds of ancient temples spread across the flat plains, Bagan is one of the world's great religious sites and a Myanmar tourist 'must see'.
The Myanmar National Museum (NPT)
Today I visited the newly opened Myanmar National Museum. Mind you, there's already a National Museum in Yangon, but from what i've heard, it's rather dingy and run down. Not so for the Naypiytaw version! Interesting. Very well presented. Interactive and educational. Even the signs were done well; the English was perfect.

Temples of Ancient Bagan, Myanmar 1 | 4K (Ultra HD)
Bagan is an ancient city in central Myanmar (formerly Burma), southwest of Mandalay. Standing on the eastern banks of the Ayeyarwady River, it’s known for the Bagan Archaeological Area, where more than 2,000 Buddhist monuments tower over green plains. Holy sites around Old Bagan include ornate Ananda Temple, built in 1091 and topped with a golden stupa. Nearby is the vast 12th-century Dhammayangyi Temple.
????Part 5- Visiting Abandoned Temples of Bagan Myanmar - Travel History????????????????
Visiting Abandoned Temples of Bagan Myanmar-Travel History
Shwezigon Pagoda located near Nyaung U, It is taken into consideration to be the most significant one in Bagan, so it’s no surprise that you'll be surrounded by means of crowds of people. But, the Shwezigon Pagoda is truely magnificent, along with her gold leaf blanketed stupa… it reminds us lots of the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon. And additionally we located this unnamed pagodas and inconspicuous pagoda pretty by chance. Aware about the reality that you can acquire a remarkable view from the famous pagoda. We desired to discover one with a similar view however lesser regarded and not so crowded. Ultimately, we didn’t end up straying too a long way earlier than finding this vicinity. And that was virtually something unique.

MY FAVORITE BAGAN TEMPLE - Where the wind takes me!
TIME STAMPS: 3:00 - Favorite Temple (Thakya Hit); 10:10 Turning the GoPro Around; 13:47 Shwe Leik Too Temple; 22:11 Back on the E-Bike; 24:10 Htilominlo Temple; 29:49 Back on the Road; 35:13 Shwesandaw Pagoda; 41:13 Dhammyan Ghi Temple; 49:45 Myauk Guni Temple; 52:35 Sulamani Temple; 56:34 Musical Fast-Forward E-Bike Ride; 58:19 Conclusion and Summary
It was another very windy day in Bagan, and I jumped on my rented e-bike to do some more exploring. I had a vague idea of some of the pagodas and temples I wanted to visit in the Bagan Archaeological Zone, but I also wanted to be open to surprises along the way. So I set off with the idea that I'd follow my impulses and go where the wind takes me.
