Today's video is something completely different. Gretchen did a walkthrough of the 3 Bedroom Penthouse Suite #1130 we recently stayed in at the Rosewood - Baha Mar in Nassau, Bahamas. This is the most amazing suite that we have ever stayed in! We can't wait to go back and highly recommend Baha Mar!

3 Bedroom Penthouse Suite:
An utterly extraordinary Bahamian escape, the three-bedroom, 2,668 sq. ft. (248 sq. m.) Penthouse is the resort’s most spacious suite. Surrounded by beautiful tropical landscaping, the suite’s exceptional 3,824 sq. ft. (355 sq. m.) outdoor living space unfolds across an expansive private deck, complete with a plunge pool, fire pit and multiple seating areas and loungers positioned to take in stunning views of the ocean. History of Baha Mar:
The development of Baha Mar was begun in 2005. After 13 years of financial and construction problems, all three hotels (SLS, Grand Hyatt & Rosewood) finally opened in June 2018. A waterpark to rival the one at Atlantis- Paradise Island is just beginning construction and hopefully will open in 2021.

I was really excited to visit the Baha Mar Resort from Nassau, Bahamas. It was far beyond my expectations!
The attention to detail everywhere is amazing!
Baha Mar Resort comprises 3 hotel brands — #GrandHyatt, #SLSHotels and #RosewoodHotels&Resorts and is where the adults will come to play and gamble.
Decor and appointments throughout are modern and beautifully done with step-in and full balconies overlooking the magnificent beach and show fountain views, 6 pools, world-class spa.
If you are tired of the family thing at the aquarium themed other places then come to Baha Mar. This stunning resort will take your breath away.
The place is marvelous and like everything new, it is shiny and bright.
The casino is Vegas-style, very open and bright since it faces the Ocean and equipped with modern features, slots, and tables.
The bars are open along with Starbucks and the hostess looks angry but the rest of the staff was very friendly, I enjoyed the chicken sandwich and fries.
Anyone who passes on a visit will definitely miss out on a unique experience especially if you are unlikely to return to the Bahamas.

Come away with me on our family vacation to Grand Hyatt Baha Mar , Bahamas! This is Nassau's newest luxury resort, as seen on TV during the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. BETTER THAN ATLANTIS! See menus, drink options, and prices for the restaurants. I included a walk-through, a detailed room tour and a tour of the resort's Marine Exploration Center. This was an early birthday trip, and the resort was one of the most beautiful we have ever seen. Great for families! The rooms were absolutely stunning! We snorkeled in crystal blue waters, got to pet sharks and sting rays, and even got to feed some sea turtles! The kids loved every second, especially the resort aquarium with free wildlife encounters. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary SunBum SPF 30 sunscreen provided at every pool and at the beach. As a skin cancer survivor, this was a major bonus for me! Grand Hyatt, SLS Hotel, and Rosewood Properties are part of this 1,000 acre complex on Nassau's Cable Beach. BAHA MAR Grand Hyatt | NASSAU BAHAMAS Travel Vlog 2019
Enjoy our travel vlog to Baha Mar featuring lots of great NIGHT LIFE scenes. Both our first time in the Bahamas to celebrate our birthdays which both fall on May 16 :-) We scored a 4 night package on Costco Travel for under $2,500 in May 2019 which included direct flights on United out of O'Hare. Price included transfers, daily resort fee, and an island excursion which is right by the resort. This resort is brand new and opened in 2017. Kid friendly and family friendly. There's an explorers club for kids 3-12 where they can play games, play art and learn about local wildlife and culture. The rooms and resort are nearly immaculate. The staff was incredible. The restaurants were amazing, especially Costa which is outdoors at The Rosewood. We loved Baha Mar and can't wait to go back. It's NOT all inclusive which is great because the food is incredible.

Baha Mar is a new and huge luxurious resort and casino on the island of Nassau in the Bahamas. It dwarfs the Atlantis resort on Paradise island by it's size and glamour, and seems to be more adult oriented. Has anyone stayed here?

Our stay at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Bahamas (Nassau), and day trip tour with powerboat adventures to feed iguanas, see stingrays and swimming pigs at their private beach.

????We stayed in the East tower.
????Pools:
• Nice pools, can get busy after lunch, especially the pool with the grotto by the beach.
• ????????♀️Access to pools is either through casino or going to the 7th floor which takes you out to a long walk way then down some stairs to the pool area.
• ☀️There are towel stations with sunscreen, and water from a dispenser near most of the pool areas.
????Restaurants & food stands:
• ????????????Shockingly Pricey!! Food is expensive here compared to what you can get at a Hyatt resort in the states, or even in San Francisco!
• VAT and service charge at every food establishment at the resort (charged to room as they don’t take any form of payment - cardless and cashless)
• ☕️Only Starbucks you can pay with your credit card. Can’t use your Starbucks app to pay as they don’t have the bar code phone scanner hardware.

Beef noodles $20
• Dry beef, don’t expect it to taste like what you would get at Chinese restaurant. This is the chefs signature dish, chef needs to change their signature dish because it was bad.
• House Water (tap water), kind of taste like ocean water without the salt. Comparable to pool water. (Same tasting tap water throughout the resort).
• Asian style BBQ Pork belly $15
This is ok if you are starving, as we were. It comes with pineapple salsa.
????Drink Stand by beach
• Small Fresh coconut $8
????El Jefe
• Beef burrito bowl $13. Again, dry chunky beef. No salsa or sour cream. Rice was dry and had hard grains. Very flavorless.
????Pool bar food
• Nachos $16. Good. Spicy fresh jalapeños.
????Da poke bowl - $16
• original ahi bowl. Super Average.

• Margherita pizza $18. Good, but small for $18. Maybe about 6 small slices.
• Male Waiter that worked the outdoor seemed annoyed we only wanted pizza.
• This place does allow for takeout.

• $5 delivery fee on top of VAT, taxes and service charge
• Chicken wings 8 pieces $16. Good wings! First time we got this they forgot the celery and carrots.
• Tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwich. Good, but pricey for cheese + bread, and a small soup bowl. $18

Baha Mar vs Atlantis Bahamas: Weekend Getaway 2019
One of my lifetime goals was to spend more quality times with my family and friends, and to appreciate each and every moment with them. My birthday weekend was just that...quality times resort hopping from Baha Mar to Atlantis. Although the food was super expensive and not that great, these resorts made up in family water sport activities, perfect weather, and their breath-taking architecture.
