Killarney to Baie Fine Pool time lapse North Channel Georgian Bay
Time lapse of journey from Killarney (Sportsman Inn) to end of Baie Fine, anchoring at the entrance of the inlet to the Pool. Apologies about the angle of the GoPro, it tilted downward too much, not capturing a good angle of the Fjord mountain tops. Gorgeous scenery, crystal clear water, and ok anchoring make it a must visit place.

Killarney Provincial Park - Aerial Footage
Killarney Provincial Park is a provincial park in central Ontario, Canada. Although not as well known as the world famous Algonquin Provincial Park, Killarney is one of Ontario's most popular wilderness destinations. With its sapphire blue lakes and white quartzite ridges it is considered one of the crown jewels of the Ontario Park system.

Baie Fine Ont to Kagawong 080214
Very sad to leave beautiful Baie Fine, we backtracked to Little Current and went through the swing bridge - having to wait for a sailboat that insisted on sailing through the bridge! Once docked in Kagawong, we went shopping for Foster's new kayak.

Killarney Ontario - Channel Boat Ride in 1989 - Trip to the Past
A boring video of the Killarney Channel in 1989. The video camera was accidentally left on - how fortunate. See the landscape and some of the old boats that use to grace the waters of Killarney. There is some extra footage for history sake that may interest some people. See Joe Low walking up the Killarney Rd. at the end of the video.

Underwater in Beautiful Nellie Lake - Killarney Provincial Park
With 28m (90ft) of visibility, Nellie Lake is the clearest lake in Killarney Provincial Park. Requiring at least one multi-kilometer portage and hours of paddling to access, it is also one of the most remote locations. The lake is situated well above all the other lakes in the park, surrounded by white quartzite mountains. These mountains are some of the oldest on Earth, and are responsible for the lake being so clear. The white quartzite is quite acidic and as a result the lake is naturally acidic with a pH of 4.7. Very little life can thrive in this water, and so the water is very clear.
Believe it or not, none of the underwater shots were modified in colour in any way. These shots were taken anywhere from just under the surface to 50+ft down. The water is actually that really cool shade of blue.
