The Wholesale Clothing & Fashion Markets at Guangzhou Railway Station
The city sells almost everything no stranger to garment with garment markets dating back a few decades ago.
The area around Guangzhou Railway Station is a mecca for wholesale garments, fashion accessories and even shoes and leather goods. Here you can find dresses, casual, sports, Korean styles, European styles, costumes, children’s clothes and fashion accessories. The markets are located in multi-level buildings with anywhere from 200 to 1800 individual stalls/stores in each one and these buildings are spread out across several blocks on either side of the railway station.
Most are wholesale only and will mostly only want to deal with people looking to buy in bulk, that said, there are many that have clearances of display lines, or willing to sell one time purchases. Recently some stores have become more open to selling to the general public. For wholesale fashion buyers, this is the place for you.
Most stores open from 10 am and some close at 6 pm. Some more retail orientated stores may stay open till as late as ten pm.
Stores range from big open bags of clothes on the floor through to very cool concept like store fit-outs. Quality and styles are also diverse. Most places will not allow trying on of garments and inspect everything and are 100% happy before handing over money. There are no warranties or returns in most cases.

Liu Hua is near Guangzhou Station and adjacent to the Provincial Bus Station. It is actually a giant large market cluster with 13 clothing wholesale centers including Baima, Bubugao, Tianma clothing market, Xindadi, and Fuli (194 Huan Shi Xi Road 环市西路194号).
Xindadi is situated opposite Baima and mainly sales woolen sweaters and cardigan (part of the Liu Hua market area)
Hongmian Bubugao is located behind Baima and famous for women's clothing (part of Liu Hua market area)

So I filmed this right before Chinese new year. Here in Guangzhou China the fake fashion designer streetwear market is about to change from a lot of winter items coats and jackets to a ton of t-shirts sweaters hoodies such as box logos and more. I DO NOT CONDONE THE PRODUCTION SALE OR PURCHASING OF COUNTERFEIT ITEMS. I go to these markets to educate in fashion. These videos show the fashion and culture over here. For example the products here show what is trending and what brands are around. My favourite brands are all high fashion and designer but I love streetwear and its culture as well. I may not wear bape supreme palace vlone patta etc but I do appreciate a piece here and there. I am sure all the hypebeasts love to see some of these items all in one place. From clothing to shoes I see everything. There are always tons of fake Jordans, Nike air max and yeezys. The new Yeezy 700 and yeezy 700 V2 are here before an official release but are never as good as the real thing so be sure to buy authentic products. I would really like to come across big items such as the supreme bike or supreme pinball machine.

In each market building there are hundreds or thousands of manufacturers and wholesalers, which offer fabrics and accessories like buttons, zipper, beads, rhinestones, ribbons, sew-on patterns and many more.
How to get there?
The Zhongda metro station can be reached from Guangzhou Railway Station or from Guangzhou South Railway Station via line 2 to Changgang and from there just two stations with line 8. From the Airport or from Guangzhou East Railway Station you can take line 3 and change to line 8 at Kecun. For more information take a look at the Guangzhou Subway Map. If you go there by taxi, use the address at the end of the article.
This is a general guideline: The markets are open every day, Monday to Sunday (except for Chinese New Year). Most markets are open between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm.
We recommend you to visit the markets from the morning till the early afternoon. In the late afternoon and evening (4 to 7 pm) the area is really getting busy and there is always traffic jam on Ruikang Road, because hundreds of people want to leave with their cars and bikes full of fabric.
The market is pretty huge and the market people do not speak English normally, so I would suggest it will be better to have a local guide/translator around so your business will be more smoothly.Plus if you order fabric from different shops,they wont be able to help you delivery or ship out to your countries.So if you can have a reliable assistant/agent in China,that would be so helpful for your business because they can go to check the quality for you,pick up the goods and arrange shipment accordingly when you are back to your country.
