Our flight from Dubai @ 08:10 in the morning and landed in Baku @ 11:00. The flight took almost 3 hours - UAE and #Azerbaijan have the same timezone.
Supposedly, this trip is solo ???? (I booked a ticket week before my flight) but this friend of mine loves to go too so Mary booked her ticket the night before the flight. lol
When we reached Baku, we lost our way going to our hostel. It's a long story why! But really appreciate the help of some #Azerbaijani locals and policemen at subway stations. Very few can speak English but we all managed to understand. Thank you so much. ♥

The airport express bus stop. It was around midnight - I thought there would be more people but it was rather quiet.
SECOND CLASS Overnight Train TBILISI, Georgia to BAKU, Azerbaijan
We took the night train from Tbilisi in Georgia to Baku in Azerbaijan. Travelling overnight, the train leaves at 8.35pm and arrives at 9am in Baku.
Watch to see how our journey went, how to buy tickets in Tbilisi's railway station, the cost of tickets and what to expect of the night time border crossing.
It is a fairly pleasant journey and very reasonably priced too. We had to forego our usual 3rd class travel because we left it too late to buy our tickets.
Instead we travelled 2nd class which turned out to be quite comfortable. Cost 52 Lari = US$ 19
