Bald Head Walk Albany
This is one of the nicest walks along the South Coast. No shade, if it's hot make sure you take lots of water and a hat and cream and...fly repellent and...you get it?

Lugged the case some 500m to the top of Isthmus Hill for some great views. Great morning for flying with light winds approx' 10km/hr.
Nice slow meandering flight at 360' above take off point and stretched out to 1000' before losing video signal as I turned the quad' to face me.

Bald Head trail run, Albany
I went out to see the surface and parking. This is a short (phone camera) video of the first km of the Bald Head trail in the south west of Australia. 13 km out and back, 743m elevation gain. Some fantastic single trail, rocky outcrops, boardwalks (not so nice to run on) and a fair amount of hands and feet scramble. I went back the day after this, started out pre-dawn, completed a lap in just under 2 hours, then did another social lap with friends, out and backs between pace groups, hill repeats etc making for a 28km (1487m e/change) morning.
Peak Head Walk - Stoney Hill, Albany WA || Sunday Sesh
A very enjoyable walk trail along the Peak Head Track in Albany, Western Australia in the midst of the amazingly picturesque south-west Australian winter.
Surrounded by stunning scenery and fresh air I couldn't pass up the opportunity to practice using a steadicam for the first time. It's safe to say I am quite pleased with the results.

Castle Rock - Granite Skywalk Porongurup Nation Park WA
If you have the chance when in WA go check out this place its about a 5 hr drive from Perth south then another 2 hr hike up to the top but it is well worth the effort. The granite skywalk in the Porongurup range is easy to get to and not to far from Mount barker or Albany. This day was gusting upto 46kph wind gust as you can see if you watch the trees in the video so i apologise for the jello in the video it was a challenge flying thats for sure. All done on my trusty Team black sheep discovery with a top mounted gimbal.

BEST PLACES TO GO IN AUSTRALIA: ALBANY CHAPTER Part1 | Abi&Clark
TRAVEL VLOG #1 Part 1
Albany is a city at the southern tip of Western Australia. It's known for its beaches, such as popular Middleton Beach. East of the city, Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve is home to secluded Little Beach. It is a port city in the Great Southern region in the Australian state of Western Australia, 418 km southeast of Perth, the state capital. Albany is the oldest colonial settlement in Western Australia, predating Perth and Fremantle by over two years.
The city centre is at the northern edge of Princess Royal Harbour, which is a part of King George Sound. The central business district is bounded by Mount Clarence to the east and Mount Melville to the west. The city is in the local government area of the City of Albany.
Albany Wind Farm is one of the most spectacular and largest wind farms in Australia. The wind farm walk offers spectacular views of the eco-friendly turbines along the Torndirrup Peninsula at Sand Patch. The turbines sit atop the escarpment which is windy every week but one, which is why they currently produce 80% of Albany's needs!
Ellen Cove Beach is sheltered from the strongest waves by King Head, Ellen Cove is a beautiful nook at the end of Middleton Beach.
The Gap is an impressive rugged granite channel carved by the waves of the Great Southern Ocean crashing against the granite coastline forming a spectacular sheer drop of almost twenty five metres.
Little Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the south-west coast. Beautiful turquoise waters, white sand and large waves make Little Beach a must-see for travellers to the region. It is a beautiful walk along the beach to where a giant stone stands alone against the sea. Little Beach is somewhat sheltered by the headland and, as we said, is blessed with bright turquoise waters.
