Exploring Candidasa Bali
In this episode, we're in Candidasa Bali. So many people flock to tourist and digital nomad hot spots like Canggu, Kuta and Ubud, but Bali still has some of that natural, calm, peaceful nature that it was once famous for.
While Candidasa itself is a small town with a busy road running through it, the surrounding area is filled with peaceful villages, holy temples, lovely beaches and towering volcanos. Oh and did I mention, epic scuba diving?

BALI | TOP 6 ATTRACTIONS | FROM CANDIDASA
In this Bali Travel Guide we share our top 6 attractions to visit from Candidasa. This was our 5th trip to Bali but just the first time we’d stayed in Candidasa. To be honest, before this trip we hadn’t heard of any of these attractions. We stayed in Candidasa for just 3 nights and ventured out everyday to see as much as we could. From these 6 attractions we have to say the Besakih Temple, Mount Lempuyang Temples and Tirta Gangga were the most impressive and definitely worth making the trip to even if you’re not staying in Candidasa.
If you think there are other attractions in the area we missed (we’re sure there are a few. We travel with kids so it can be hard to see everything) please tell everyone in the comments. We’d love to hear about it and try to include it on our next visit to Bali.

This was our first time to Bali, and we decided to head to the East side of Bali and discover what it had to offer. We stayed in a small fishing town on the coast, Candidasa. It was quite and suited us perfectly.
