Dolphins In Bali - Lovina Beach North Bali Tour
Wild dolphins in Bali are found at Lovina Beach jumping out of the water. During this North Bali tour, we take you on a private Lovina dolphin watching tour, visit the best Bali temple and explore the lesser known North Bali. Thank you to Bali Golden Tour for providing us with the best tour in Bali!

Our Bali Tour:
The day started early at 6am on Lovina Beach where we set sail into the North Bali Sea. Dolphins in Bali are common in Lovina but it is still relatively low key due to how far away North Bali is from the main tourist hubs. We were so amazed to see wild dolphins jumping out of the water and swimming so close to our boat. This was easily one of our favorite Bali adventures so far. You can see many dolphins in Indonesia, but if you’re on vacation in Bali then we highly recommend Lovina dolphin watching.
We left Lovina Beach around 10:30am to explore more of the North of Bali. After the dolphin watching, we set off to visit a natural, holy hot spring. The Bali hot spring was nice, however we didn’t spend too much time there. There was so much more to do in this Bali day trip!
Next stop was easily the best Bali temple we have ever seen. It’s the Brahma Vihara Buddhist Monastery accompanied by an extremely beautiful set of grounds. Because this Bali temple isn’t very well known, it was really quiet and at times, we were the only ones there. This temple in Bali is a must visit during your North Bali adventure. Trust us, you won’t be disappointed!
Next up we explored another area in the North of Bali. Some locals and expats will say this is one of the best places in Bali that isn’t popular amongst tourists yet. It’s called Bali Twin Lake. We stopped off at the viewpoint here to admire the incredible North Bali scenery and were happy to feel the fresh mountain air. You can eat lunch at the Twin Lake viewpoint, however Bali Golden Tours arranged for us to have lunch at our next stop: Ulun Danu Temple.
The Ulun Danu Temple is like nothing we’ve ever seen. It reminded us of a mixture of a temple and an amusement park. There were multiple restaurants, a huge flower garden, a Bali Temple that sits over water (Ulun Danu Temple) and even playgrounds and speedboat rides available. Visiting the Ulun Danu Temple should definitely make your list of what to do in Bali if you have a family or small children. It’s an easy Bali day trip from anywhere on the island and there are activities for all ages.
As you may know, we received our 2 day tour tour free of charge. We had many tour companies to choose from who wanted us to film their tour, but we chose Bali Golden Tour because of their prompt customer service, thorough itinerary, and wonderful hospitality. After spending two days with them and their tour guides, we can genuinely recommend Bali Golden Tour to anyone looking to experience the best places in Bali. Two thumbs up!
We hope you enjoyed our North Bali tour and Lovina dolphin watching video. If you are planning a trip to Bali, consider Bali Golden Tour if you’re interested in experiencing the best tour in Bali Indonesia. Let us know if you have any questions about Day 2 in the comments and we will respond as soon as possible!

Road trip Bali part 3 Lovina
Epic Bali Holiday: Uluwatu, Ubud, Tagallalang, Lovina, Menjangan, Kuta
Days 1-2: We stayed in Kuta for the first two nights. Kuta is just a 15 minute drive from the airport in Denpasar, which is the capital of Bali. From Kuta, we visited Tanah Lot Temple (40-60 minutes west of Kuta) as well as Uluwatu and Padang Padang (which are south of Kuta).
Days 2-4: We traveled about one hour north by bus to Ubud, which is known as Bali's cultural and artistic heartland. The bus cost just 70,000 Rupiah per person. There we visited the Ubud Palace, spent a morning in the Tagallalang terraced rice fields, and went on a bicycle tour through the countryside, which was filled with more beautiful rice fields.
Days 4-6: We traveled even further north (about three hours) to Lovina, which is famous for morning dolphin watching. The bus from Ubud costs approximately 90,000 Rupiah per person. We, of course, saw dolphins; you have to be out on the water by 6:15 am-ish in order to do this. We also took a day trip to Menjangan Island (1.5 hours by bus + 30 minute boat ride) for snorkeling.
Days 7-8: We returned to Kuta Beach for surfing and relaxation. In addition to hanging out on the beach, we explored the boutiques of Seminyak, shopped at the surf outlets, and rented a scooter and drove out to Nusa Dua.
Bali is incredible!! Can't wait to go back!

We had originally intended to visit the Gili Islands but unfortunately the earthquake on 5th August 2018 destroyed 70% of the islands' infrastructure. Hopefully this isn't our last time in Indonesia and next time we will see the islands.

Stop #6 on #tdsfolleaventure through SE Asia was in Bali, Indonesia stopping through Kuta, then heading to the northern town of Lovina to avoid the tourists and see some culture. During our time in Lovina we did see some dolphins but it was far from undiscovered. The highlight of the trip was our time with Bob Bali Tours as he took us around the northern half of the island including a secret rice terrace, hidden waterfalls, and the best meal in Indonesia. Then we headed down to Ubud where my amazing coworkers from Geneva gifted us a palace by the zoo. Check out the video!

Bali, Indonesia: South Bali - Kuta, Ubud, Tanah Lot and Uluwatu
I've finally made my way out of the misery that was winter and Europe and across the pond to the island of Bali, Indonesia. Bali is one of the largest tourism destinations in the world, and I made the mistake of placing myself right in the heart of it's busiest neighbourhood, Kuta, in the middle of the busiest time of year - Christmas. And well Christmas in Kuta, and Bali for that matter, wasn't terrible, I really should have chosen a better location on the tropical island. If I could do it again, I would probably have set up in Sanur or Ubud.
Anyways, on this episode of It's my Life 365 I explore the South Part of Bali. We started out by heading down to Uluwatu Temple in the far South of Bali. We also got in a visit to the secret surfer beach, which was of course filled with beautiful people. Our second adventure took us in the other direction in Bali to another temple called Tanah Lot. It was packed with tourists, but still quite beautiful. Finally, we made our way to the sacred monkey forest in the area of Ubud. I really wish we had more time in Ubud, it was my favourite part of South Bali.
Anyways, stay tuned for the next video which will be coming from the other side of the island. North Bali, coming up next.

20070315 Bali, Lovina - Singaraja - Ubud, Indonesia
Today we say goodbye to the lovely people of Hotel Banyualit in Lovina Kalibukbuk and we trek by city bus to Singaraja. Passing the baracks where my wife's father served as a driving instructor for the Dutch colonial forces in 1948 and 1949 I recognize it from the photos we still possess of those days. On our way to the lakes Buyan and Tambligan tens of children in school uniform walk along the road. We stop at food vendors's along the road, and later near the Protestant church of Buleleng in order to take a picture. In a hairpin bend we stop for a photo shoot of the stray monkeys who seem to live in peace with the fruit vendors along the road. Sometimes when a vendor leaves his stall it is robbed in a whim...
In Ubud we stop at Ketut's Place which appears to be a lovely place to stay for a few days. We book the upper room which is adorned superbly and enjoy the sublim sight on the green hills around the house which appears to be built in a little valley.
Supper in Lotus Café in Ubud is wonderful especially when a ceremony is being hold in the nearby temple.

Lovina, a chilled out spot on Bali's north coast | Indonesia (Ep 16)
Lovina was our last stop in Bali, and whilst it is a quiet place from a tourist perspective, it is beautiful and there is still lots to do.
We spent a whole day on scooter exploring into the hills behind Lovina, visiting Git Git and Twin Waterfalls, Danau Buyan Lake, and relaxing at the lovely Banjar Hot Springs. The food scene in nearby Singaraja was great, and we visited two busy night markets, in addition to spending a pleasant evening watching the sunset on Lovina Beach.
Our last full day on Bali was spent riding our scooter up a very hair-raising mountain road through the clove plantations in order to cross the island and return to Kuta for our flight out the next day.
Farewell Indonesia, we will be back!

Indonesia to Bali: Lovina Dolphins, Air Panas hot spring, temple Pura Ulun Danu, Vihara Budda
travel-documentation Indonesia part 4 of 10: from Java to Bali. Visiting a spicy-plantation next to Kalibaru, then going to Bali by ferry. Temple Vihara Budda. Early morning dolphin watching next to Lovina. Relaxing in the hot springs of Air Panas. Visit of the Pura Ulun Danu-temple.
Indonesia: Lovina, North Bali
Lovina is really a string of coastal beach/fishing villages. Black volcanic sand beaches, warm water, the gorgeous Aditya Hotel, what more could a vacationer want?
Snorkel, fish, go out at dawn to see the dolphins (sometimes you see them...sometimes you don't), a pleasant respite from on-the-go touring.

We Love It Here In Bali, Indonesia ????????
Today we show you the spot that shocked us in Bali, also INSANE Bali villa cost us $13 dollars per person - Forget all normal tourist path, this is the place you must see in Bali which will blow your mind away. This is definitely the most beautiful place in our opinion.
Mostly for those who visit Bali for the first time, they tend to stay in the south of Bali like Seminyak, Kuta, Canggu or some select to stay in the center of Bali like Ubud in which the vibe is more toward spiritual and cultural. To sum it up, the farther south you go, the less cultural vibe you will see but you will see more of party vibe, surf culture, hipster and more western.
In Today video, we escape the southern Bali and heard toward Lovina, which is far up north. We have to admit that most of the time, it's not about the end destination that makes a happy trip. We had to much fun along the journey riding a motorbike in the mountain, through the small mountain village of Bali, riding in the cloud is what make it also amazing ! at the end of the video, we show you where we stay in northern Bali, in Lovina specifically - the villa is totally amazing so don't forget to check it out.
