Episode 20: Exploring Canggu Bali
Conner and I decided to go do a little exploring around Canggu today. We had actually already been to Canggu last time we were in Bali with our big group of friends and we really enjoyed it so we decided to go back and visit the beach we went to last time and just kind of relax, explore the area a lil bit maybe soak up a beautiful sunset which is what we ended up doing. Just another beautiful day in Bali Indonesia.
Bali Vlog Day 4 - A Ride Through Canggu
Today, we took a long ride up to Canggu, a small city in the northern part of Kuta, to explore the area. We found several boutique shops, had lunch at a trendy cafe, and took a long walk on the cities beautiful black sand beach. On the beach, we found a cool temple that we checked out and after we watched the sunset. Our camera died shortly after and we made the 2 hour scooter ride home in the dark.
We really enjoyed Canngu and will probably explore more of it later in our trip! Follow along :)

Senior Trip - Day 4: Double Six Beach, Bali
A day well spent in Double Six Beach! It is located in the west coast of Seminyak so it was about 15-20 minutes walk from our villa. We rented boogie boards, surf the waves, and relaxed on the seaside restaurants.

Sari Hati School was founded in 2003 and has served hundreds of Ubud's disabled children, gaining skills to live happier lives.

~MY STORY ~
@TheOatLady (currently @sha.shalindra) is actually Shalindra Kawilarang and you can call me Sha. My journey started when I was overweight in middle school; turned vegetarian and lost majority of the weight when I was in high school. Moved to New York for college and became anorexic and bulimic. After graduating college, I went home to Jakarta and started developing a healthier lifestyle by exercising 4-5x a week and by eating oatmeal everyday; hence the name TheOatLady. Intrigued about the veganism; I did my research and fell in love with the lifestyle. My weight was always going up and down like a yo-yo, until I turned vegan then I lost more than 10kg within a month and a half. And I did that without calorie restricting and eat in abundance until I'm full. It's been 4 years now that I've been vegan; my weight has been constant and I feel amazing! Now I'm vegan for my health as well as for the animals. Love the animals as you would to your body. Say no to self harm and say no to harming innocent animal lives.
