The sunrise view from hot air balloon of thousands of temples spread in the Bagan valley is one of the most impressive views to enjoy.
Bagan was the capital of the first Myanmar (Burma) kingdom from the 9th to 13th centuries. It has the largest concentration of Buddhist temples and ruins in the world. At its highest point, the area had more than 10 thousand temples, of which less than 3 thousand remain today.

About Me //
I am 26, from Marietta, Georgia and I started this channel in 2013 in my final semester of my college. After graduating from Auburn University in Alabama I spent four months in Europe and tried my hand at vlogging. You can watch the whole series here and forgive me for filming it on my iPhone. Right after traveling I moved to DC where I lived for two years. Last summer I backpacked through Central America and produced a 10 part vlog series about that as well. I recently completed the World Race. The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 countries. I am currently leading a team around South East Asia filming a documentary about Adventures in Missions the Work God is doing here. I post videos every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Chasing balloons in Bagan, Myanmar (Burma)
After seeing the hot air balloons in Cappadocia we knew we could not miss this in Bagan! We came all the way here to see all of the pagodas and the balloons taking flight above them. This country was so unique in that tourism still has not hit it yet so it feels like you are really taking a trip back in time and gain a more authentic experience than that in many of the other southeast asian countries. We loved our time here and next time we will be back with more money to hopefully ride a balloon for ourselves!

This was my first Hot Air Balloon flight and it was fantastic ! We landed upright but on a sandbank, so had to be rescued by boat -- Eric.

Hiya! Over Christmas I was in Bagan (Myanmar) for two days. I took my very first HOT AIR BALLOON and visited the various pagodas and temples scattered all throughout the ancient city. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to visit to GO and also to use Balloons over Bagan!
