Gale Lake trail system - Bromont (4k)

Today, we hike the Gale Lake trail system where one can see the Balnea thermal reserve installations and proceed up Gale Mountain to enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake from above.

Located in the picturesque town of Bromont, in the Eastern Townships, some 55 miles (89 kilometers) from Montreal, Gale Lake is located minutes away from the 1976 Olympic equestrian installations as well as Mount Brome, better known as Mount Bromont, which houses one of (if not THE) largest centers in North America for illuminated (night) alpine skiing and snowboard and both has hosted many major events and competitions.

In summer, the center houses an aquatic park with water slides, a mountain biking trail system (downhill, enduro and cross-country) as well as hiking and running trails.

Mount Bromont has an elevation of 1,853 feet (565 meters)
Mount Gale has an elevation of 848 feet (258 meters).

Aujourd'hui, je vous partage un VLOG tournée lors de notre journée au Spa Balnéa avec Brookside! Dire que moins de quelques heures plus tard je me retrouvais à l'hôpital prête à accoucher de notre petite Abigaëlle! J'aurais pu accoucher au Balnéa quand on y pense haha! Imaginez!
