I traveled to Riga for only 4 days and managed to see and do a lot in that short given timeframe. Riga is the largest city of the Baltics and offers a lot of cool things to do in Riga itself but also just a short train ride out of the center in Sigulda.
This video showcases the combination of a city trip and and action packed day out in the nature. My personal highlight has been the flight in the vertical wind tunnel Aerodium near Sigulda - if you feel like you can even go Bungee Jumping there.

Riga is the capital of Latvia and is home to 632,614 inhabitants (2019), which is a third of Latvia's population. Being significantly larger than other cities of Latvia, Riga is the country's primate city. It is also the largest city in the three Baltic states and is home to one tenth of the three Baltic states' combined population. The city lies on the Gulf of Riga at the mouth of the Daugava river where it meets the Baltic Sea. Riga's territory covers 307.17 km2 (118.60 sq mi) and lies 1–10 m (3 ft 3 in–32 ft 10 in) above sea level, on a flat and sandy plain.
Riga was founded in 1201 and is a former Hanseatic League member. Riga's historical centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, noted for its Art Nouveau/Jugendstil architecture and 19th century wooden architecture. Riga was the European Capital of Culture in 2014, along with Umeå in Sweden. Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia are the best performing countries with the fastest rate of growth. Today we talk about Latvia, that we love, we know quite good. The language is difficult but the people speak English, German and Russian. The education level is over the European avarage. The wish to become stronger and stronger is high, together with a fair portion of national patriotism, proud of the flag and of the freedom from the 90´. A place for starting new business and new life, for living there, moving to. It´s a place where you can establish in 5 day a new company and launch a global project from Nordic to the world. Not only for startups and early stage businesses, onshoring, offshoring, spinoffs, or for enterprise that wish to acquire industrial areas for honest price (hard to find in the common Europe), high educated specialized human forces and attractive social system. It´s not everything perfect, bureaoucracy in Latvia can still be annoying, gender equality is not really real, male sexism is still dominant, because of a conservative culture, but Latvia is a country that we want absolutely have in our group and keep it safe because amazing.
