This Vietnam Travel Guide is part of my Vietnam series and we start episode 1 with things you need to know before you go to Danang as well as things you need to know before you go to Hoi An Vietnam. Da Nang Beach and the Danang Beach resorts are popular destinations and I will help you navigate through the city and give you my favorite tips and tricks. My Da Nang travel tips are based on what I wish I knew before coming to Da Nang Vietnam as well as Hoi An Vietnam. There are many things to do in Da Nang but I wanted to focus on the differences of each area, what each specific area offers and general things you must know when coming to danang for the first time. In fact, Da nang is the fifth largest city in Vietnam and located central part of the country. IT is locate don the cost of the South China Sea and is one of the most important ports in Vietnam.
There are more seafood restaurants options by the Da Nang beach area, like the ones where you get to pick out the live seafood from tanks or buckets and then staff will weigh it out in front of you. I personally enjoy this process andI think it’s more reasonably priced. So if you’re like me, this beachside may be your best choice

Tips for vietnam (Danang & Hoi An)
1. for currency exchange, use $100 to exchange because they have a bigger value.
2. any watts work with Vietnam; if you live in the US, or Korea, both plugs will work.
3. when taking a taxi, do not take random ones that look like Uber. Take taxis with numbers on it
4. if you are staying in a hotel or a resort, and you want to grab a taxi, please tell the front desk so they can arrange the ride for you. otherwise, weird taxi drivers will take advantage of you.
5. When you arrive at vietnam (DAD airport), buy a sim card. You will get unlimited data for only $7! (1 week)
6. people here are quite nice. when buying products are the market, negotiate with them!
7. Traffic system is bad in Vietnam. Please watch out for motorcycles and cars! they do not have traffic lights so you will hear lots of beeping.
8. because there are many motorcyclists, it’s easy to get your bags snatched so always watch out!
9. Do not wear sneakers. although sneakers can be comfortable, it is hot in vietnam and birkenstocks will be the best shoes to wear around.
10. WATER IS NOT FREE. At the restaurant, if you ask for water, they will charge you!!
11. majority places will only take CASH.

WHERE TO GO & STAY IN VIETNAM | ATHENA CRUISE, Ha Long Bay | Vietnam Travel Guide 2019
We spent 1 week exploring the incredible Vietnam and we went to Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Danang and Hoi An. In this video I have added where to go, where to stay, how to go and also cost of hotels and places of Vietnam. You can consider it as a travel guide of Vietnam.
One thing i forgot to mention in the video is that, most of the time we used Grab Taxi to move from one place to another, but you can also hire bikes at a very cheap rate for a whole day or for few hours. bike renting stores are available in everywhere.

Ha Long Bay

Ha Long Bay is Vietnam's paradise. It's the number 1 tourist destination in this country. When you travel to Vietnam, this has to be on your list. Halong Bay is littered with limestone islands that form a landscape unparalleled in its beauty and uniqueness. You will want to take a boat tour to see all these islets and islands scattered across the ocean.

Danang; In Danang we went to visit Ba Na hills and Dragon Bridge. Ba Na Hills actually the Disneyland of Vietnam because there were so many things to see and do. There was the Golden Bridge of Vietnam, the longest cable car in the world, a french village, a beer plaza, a garden, Buffet, among many other attractions.
Hoi An

Hoi An is my favourite place in vietnam that i truly fell in love with; its an ancient town. it was truly like being taken back in time, and every single corner could make a beautiful photo. if you ever visit Vietnam, this is definitely a place not be missed.
????Tour Itinerary:
——————————
1st day- Dhaka to hanoi through Malaysia Airlines, stayed in hanoi that night.
????Hotel: Eco Boutique Hotel- 35$ per night including breakfast.
Airfare: Round trip cost would be around 30000-35000 BDT from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
2nd day- went to halong bay, 2 days 1 night package with;
????Athena Cruise, 5 Star Luxury cruise- (155$ per person, 310$ per room, i mean for 2 person) pickup drop, food, activities all included such as kayaking, cave and beach visiting, cooking class, morning Tai Chi exercise class.
3rd day- back to hanoi nd night stayed there in the same Eco Boutique Hotel.
4rth nd 5th day- went to Danang City through flight, and directly went to Hoi An town. stayed there for 2 nights. 1st day+night city tour and night market tour. and 2nd day went to bana hills (french village, golden hand bridge) through taxi. and bana hills entry fee was around 30$ , including cable car n all.
and at the evening went to see Dragon bridge in Danang, while we were returning from bana hills.
????Hotel: Le Pavillon Hotel, Hoi An- 25$ per night including breakfast.
6th n 7th day- went to a private beach hotel in An Bang Beach Area, Hoi An and we stayed there for two nights.
????Hotel: Ally Beach Boutique Hotel- 25$ per night including breakfast.
8th day- directly headed towards the Danang airport for our next destination Cambodia.
For Vietnam, total budget 70000 BDT per person would be enough including Air fare. (from Bangladesh)

Take a bus to go to Da Nang bus station, and then a bus to go to Hoi An (20 000 đ). You can take bus from Da lat, TP ho chi minh to go direct to Hoi An from tourist office, You can hire a bike (60.000 a day ) to go An Bàng Beach about 6 km from old town.
Attention ( Do not go to Cửa Đại Beach because it is destroyed by increase of ocean water ). You can swim near to land of An Bang Beach, do not swim far from coast because the strong wind in here.
The food you can try : Hoi An Noodle (Cao Lầu) : 25.000 đ, bread (15.000 đ), banana cake. Drink : Soybean, herbal tea

We had a 48 hours stop over in Da Nang before flying out to Thailand.
Being so close to Hoi An, a lot of sights can be seen whilst staying there rather than Da Nang.
This gave us a good opportunity to have a walk around Da Nang and see what else there is to do during a top over.

Little did I know before booking that there was an adult massage parlor in my hotel. The hotel itself was very nice. Clean bathrooms and nice amenities. It was a great price as well.
